Durable tools

This is the perfect set for any woman to have at home. This set has just the right tools for little self fixers. My husband and sons have tools but I could never find what I needed. So this set is mine and I keep it where my guys can’t take them

Great idea and good variety of tools, poor quality and execution

I have an extensive collection of good tools, but I keep them in my garage which is not attached to my home. For small household jobs I wanted a tool set that could cover just about anything, without running out for this tool or that. This set looked great because it included the essentials (pliers, screwdrivers, level, tape-measure, hammer), as well as the nice to haves (scissors, mini screwdrivers, knife), the luxuries (clamps, scraper, tape) and a segmented hardware box so you can easily find the screw, nail, or drywall anchor you need. Unfortunately the set and box are poorly made, and fail to stand up to even light household use. The electric screw gun didn't work straight out of the box. I found that if I shook it a bit I could get it to turn on for a few seconds, but it would quickly die again. Clearly a loose connection. In addition, the hammer and a few other tools were poorly glued together and looked like they were ready to break apart at any moment. The clamps were too small to be used on any job that I could think of that would require a clamp. The real deal-breaker for me was the box itself. The molded inserts didn't hold any of the tools in at all. Every time I opened it all the tools from the "top" of the box would fall out and scatter. In addition, the plastic locks didn't actually lock in at all, meaning the box was prone to opening while being carried (the handle is only molded on one side, not both). Overall, this tool kit is a great idea that is just poorly and cheaply executed. I can't recommend this set.

Pretty good

For 40 bucks it has what I needed the rechargeable drill is best for non heavy duty things . I put together a whole Vanity on how much ever charge it came with and it worked out well .. its a little bit of everything great first tool set for anyone whose never had one. My only complaint was 1 or 2 items kept falling out every time I opened or closed the set. I mean its not a deal breaker the groves to hold it in place must be to big but again its 1 or 2 items no biggie . Especially since its not something ill be going into everyday . Overall great deal for some tools if your a noob

Remember, you get what you pay for.........

It is probably not fair for me to review this tool case b/c I use tools all the time and this is not what I would use. HOWEVER, my 9 year old daughter wanted some tools so, I picked out a kit that I thought would be a good all around tool kit for her and someone who just needed tools around the house. these tools seem to be ok for small household repairs.....she has only had since December 2015. I have noticed one malfunction. there is a small set of screwdrivers for eyeglasses/taking screws out to replace batteries in toys, etc.....well I tried to use one and the bit did not turn when I turned the handle......so it's worthless. the other things have been fine for her as she has done "repairs" and wood working projects. So, for an occasional repair, this kit should suffice......more than that, i'd choose a better kit.

Would recommend

We needed a tool kit since we just bought a house. This is great for the price and contains pretty much anything you’d need for basic repairs. I wish the battery life on the drill was a little longer and the length of the measuring tape was longer too but for the price, I’m not complaining. The case it comes in makes getting tools out a little difficult but besides that, I’d recommend getting it if you’re in need of a basic home tool kit.

Great set

Great value for your money. I wasn’t sure what to expect for the price, but we’re very happy with the set. It’s been used non stop since got it. Very practical.
