Good inexpensive shirt for outdoors

I hike most weekends and prefer light weight long sleeve wicking shirts in the winter and summer for cold and bugs. I am constantly layering up and down depending of the temperature (-10 to 95) and exertion level (uphill - downhill). I also have come to prefer lighter colors in the warmer months since they seem cooler and bugs such as ticks are more readily seen. This shirt meets these objectives pretty well. The only negative, and for me it's minor, is that it has developed a few pulls in the material. But this is much better than if it had ripped. Given that it is rubbing against granite and other rock boulders during parts of the hikes, it's holding up pretty well.

This shirt was bought to be layered under a long-sleeved shirt for wear on cool mornings on safari. It was so comfortable I wore the combination most of the day. Shed the shirt, and it still looked good enough for casual wear around the camp site. I bought two, and may get more to wear after returning home.,
