Comfortable but lacks quality

I like the style and the color, but the minor cosmetic flaws leave something to desire. I understand the boot is made in China which makes we wonder how much to cost to make versus how much I paid ($145) Trying on the boot is comfortable they look nice, and I hope they hold up in working conditions. I’ll probably keep them but if you’re really picky about the quality of a boot definitely consider another brand. Love Carhartt but quality was a slightly disappointing for me.

The Four Pairs Before didn’t make the cut!

After trying on 4 pairs of boots my husband was immediately pleased. He put them through a rigorous test. At 73 years old and a man who knows his boots he was immediately pleased. The leather is cut from the back of the hide. He’s been leather worker for 46 years he does know his leather. An man who is on his feet 15 hours a day nothing is as important as his feet. A very happy wife who is happy that her husband has comfortable feet!!

To big

I'm a size 11 in boots and these look gigantic although they don't feel that big they are, half size down if you don't have wide feet.

Working out well

I got these boots after getting another pair from another manufacturer that were supposed to be better boots that didn’t fit my heel at all. These are much more comfortable you don’t slip in the heel like the other ones did. My coworker and friend has several pairs of these that he has worn in the past and seems to get some pretty good life out of them. Some of the reviews will talk about the souls wearing out, which I can’t speak to personally, but something should be kept in mind…These are anti-slip boots. So the rubber is not going to be a very hard rubber. Still, my friend got two years or more out of his working every day on the job so I’m not gonna complain. These things are very comfortable and take almost 0 break In. The lacing is pretty straightforward. There’s only one of those hook things on the very top and it is very nicely shaped so that it doesn’t wear out your laces like many of them do. I personally don’t cinch it up very tightly around the ankle because it does add a bit of pressure to that area for me at least. These are way more comfortable than all of the Red Wings I tried on. I just couldn’t find any Red Wings that I thought would work for me despite really wanting to have a pair. Nice thing about these boots is that they don’t have any heel on them so for ladder work, and walking rooftops and such they are much safer and you can kind of feel what you’re doing more. Perhaps right out of the box they feel a bit stiffer, but that very quickly goes away. I’m pretty happy with the purchase, for half a day‘s wages, I’m not going to begrudge anything. Well worth it in my opinion. Way better than those crappy cheap boots where the bottom peels off. I’ve had way too many of those. You’ll probably buy five or six pair of those in the time it takes one of these to wear out. Finally, I’ve been spraying them off with a water hose after working with concrete all day, and yes the waterproofing seems to be working. Weather appears to be holding up well so far and it’s nice and soft. Size wise I would order true to your foot. I started off going with a 13 and edit up ordering a size down. Actually mine is a Wide to accommodate my wide feet, and they do that nicely. Worst case scenario, you don’t like them, you can return them. It’s pretty simple to do, and I had to do that with my first pair because they were too big. So no worries there.

Best work shoes ever!

I bought these back in January but I wanted to wait on the review until I wore them for a while and let me start off by saying that these are the most comfortable boots I own. I have spent money on two different types of the Timberland Pros and they aren’t as great as this pair. I broke them in in less than two days and to this day they remain super soft and comfortable. No water goes into them and it gives good support if you’re on your feet all day. Highly recommend

Bad ass working boots.

I work as a heavy duty diesel mechanic. I go threw work boots like 4 to 6 months or till I can’t stand them anymore. I started to think it was me getting old and grumpy.Not the case these boots are the Best pair of shoes I’ve had so great I wear them on the week ends, even to church ! I Look down at them And smile Every time I wear them. Much love and respect for these work boots. Moses

This is a quality product. Carhartt! I ordered about 3 pairs and this one fit perfectly. Proper size like trying in the store. The other 2 were not size 11 like they said. Comfortable and genuine leather.
