Finally the answer to my hatred of dishwasher taste
These have answered my long standing dilemma of washing things in the dishwasher and then being disgusted that they tasted like detergent. It makes me crazy that every dish detergent is so heavily scented, and then the natural unscented ones don't clean dishes at all. This has worked just as well as the cascade platinum we used to use, but without the horrible taste left on everything

Isn’t platinum grade
I like that it isn’t perfumey (my biggest complaint about dishwasher soap) but unfortunately it doesn’t clean well enough. Leaves a film. Cascade platinum is the only soap that works for us.

This cleans great just like you would expect any Cascade product to work. The best part is that it is great for the environment as well. It is a wonderful plant-based product.

Great alternative for those bothered by smell and taste of other Cascade formulas.
This rating is for Cascade Free and Clear. I had been trying Cascade Platinum for a month and the odor and taste on the dishes was overwhelming. Rather than go back to regular Cascade pods, which had a similar but less annoying odor and taste, I searched around online and found this Cascade product. With this I only smell the familiar odor very faintly when removing a pod from the container, but nothing to smell in the dishwasher during or after the wash. The container does not spread the scent into the kitchen and further. Why don't they advertise it? And why is it less expensive to buy it in the 62 pod container than to buy the replacement pods in the bags?

Cleans great, smells strong
These pods worked great. My dishes and glasses came out sparkling every time. I just don’t like the smell of them at all. Smells like a pleasant laundry soap…but I don’t want my dishes smelling like laundry! The smell is also very strong! I bought this kind hoping it would be less fragrant than the regular pods, but no so. All my plastic items (water bottles, Pyrex lids, etc.) still smell like these pods even though I stopped using them 2 weeks ago. I found that food/water stored in the above mentioned containers tasted like the pods.

Happy wife; Happy life! Great product. Good volume keeps the cost per pod very reasonable. She was not able to find this in the local stores and is thankful for Amazon!

Allergy friendly
I developed allergies to most cleaning supplies. I can tolerate this product and it cleans impeccably pre-rinsed dishes and cookware on a normal cycle on a Maytag dishwasher. It leaves the dishwasher clean and saves time and energy. I use the normal tough scrub setting with the sanitizing option. I don’t use heated dry because I have high calcium water and I want to avoid. baking calcium on the load and the dishwasher. If lemon scent is acceptable, this product will save a lot of headache. What a pity I can’t find it in a store.
