Soft, thin, warm under layer.

lightweight, long arms, slim through body

This looks like a good pullover overall. My son needed something he could wear to school over his uniform that was up to dress code. He is rather small for his age (11) at 53" and weighs less than 60lbs [super skinny]. I got the Medium (10/12) thinking there would be plenty of room for layering. I had him try it on over a shirt and it fits ok through the body, but it does look a little more snug than I expected. If he was more of an average sized kid in the 10/12 size range, I would go a size up. This would probably be too snug in the body for layering. Luckily it is 100% polyester and won't shrink in the wash. Also, the sleeves are super long. I have to roll them about 3 times or will eventually hem them. It is fleece, but very lightweight. I think it will be warm enough for it's purpose (these schools can't seem to get the temperatures right in the class rooms).

Nice additional layer for the price, but quite thin

This sweater is great as an additional layer but it is quite thin compared to other sweaters we have from Columbia. Worked out great for us during NW fall weather where you might have warm and cold wet days. So this sweater combined with a thin wind proof jacket is the perfect combination

Good quality. A little...

The quality of the fabric is very good. It is a little thinner than similar warm clothing of same fabric but it is not a problem. The size corresponds well, however the sleeves are a little longer than usual.

THIN and Runs Small

We've purchased many of the Columbia fleece jackets before and have been happy with the quality. However, these are extremely thin and seem to run small. My son has a Steens Mountain II jacket in a size Medium, which is nice and thick and roomy. Maybe it's because this is a pullover versus a zip down jacket, but this runs snug. I'm just not happy for the price paid. My son likes it, but we will likely have to return and order a size up or look for something else.

Warm and light

Great sweater for kids who don't like sweaters.

Perfect light weight fleece

When I ordered this, I thought this would be a thick fleece, it's actually a light weight fleece. I was a little disappointed, but then it turned out it's really useful. This is perfect for layering, it's light and soft, my son loves wearing it, the fleece itself is pretty warm, you can add a vest or another jacket when you go outside. I have washed this quite a few times, it still feels soft and look nice.

Buen producto

Me gusta el estilo de medio cierre, pero la tela es mucho mas delgada que las chamarras de cierre completo esta bien para días frescos pero en días fríos ( menos de 10 grados centigrados) es necesario algo mas encima
