SIZE DOWN

I am a regular size 20 in most shorts, so I ordered a size 3XL since Columbia usually runs small. Not in this case. I easily could have went with a 2XL.

Runs Large

I liked the light color & because it was loose - my underwear didn’t show through the fabric! Description says “partial elastic waist” & pix shows the drawstrings. The fit around the waist was huge. After I tied the drawstrings to a comfortable fit - the amount of gathers around the waist was just too much. Size down!

Great swim shorts

I bought these to wear over my bathing suit on a River tubing trip. These were great! Dried quickly, and very comfortable!

Too long and wide

I love Columbia shorts but find a L 3” inseam is my size. I have long narrow legs, like shorter shorts, and appreciate the comfortable elastic waistband that accommodates weight fluctuations.

Causal & Comfortable

These shorts fits true to size and are comfortable. They are great for everyday wear, but also make great shorts to go out to the or lake in. They are that dry fit type of material, so if you get splashed or put them on over a damp swimsuit, they dry pretty quickly. They do have front pockets and a single zippered back pocket on the right side.

A little big in the waist, but baggy perfection elsewhere.

I'm usually a large for more fitted items and an XL for casual and/or loser fitting tops, etc... I'm 5'9" 185... straight through the waist, muscular legs, and a flat butt. I went with the XL for these shorts and could have gone down to a L in the waist, but I'm not sure how that would impact my butt/thighs. So I rolled down the waistband and they are MUCH better... like exactly the outdoorsy fun look I wanted! I also bought these as an alternative to the classic "Baggies" nylon short by a competitor to Columbia. I really like them - nice sized mesh pockets and variety of colors. Comfy and fun for my upcoming trip to the mountains.

You NEED these shorts!

10/10 would highly recommend! Fit is a little big but not bad. Love these! They go with everything, can be dressed up or down, super comfortable and quick drying. I personally like the adjustability of the drawstring.

Very good quality

This is a very good pair of shorts to enjoy the outdoors. Good pocket size and the color is stunning. They wash well. My only complaint is that they are probably made for taller people with very skinny thighs as I have to roll up the leg parts it too long so I can move properly.
