Misleading, confusing listings regarding volume - Cordova sold by Amazon Warehouse.

There are/were two listing for size small "work" gloves made by Cordova, sold by Amazon Warehouse. One of the listings is for split grain leather (this item) one for smooth grain. There was conflicting info in the item details and description for both listings regarding a doxen pairs or gloves, a dozen gloves (6 pair), or a single pair; both very affordable "warehouse deals". I ordered the smooth grain first and received a dozen pairs, a very good deal! Then I ordered the split grain (this item) and receiced a single pair, which is not what I expected given previous order. i brought this to the attention of an amazon rep for the sake of clarity and being a good customer. Amazon reported corrected listings. I then ordered the smooth grain option a second time because 12 pairs/$$ was such a good deal, and there was still confusion in the text of the listing(finer print). I received one pair, which is appropriate for price and the way the listing headline reads.

These gloves seem well made and the leather is rugged so they should wear well, though I haven't used them enough to be able to say for sure. These gloves are definitely size small. I have small hands, so they fit me OK, but unless your hands really are small you will have trouble getting these on. These gloves have no liner, which means the seams do rub your skin in places making them somewhat uncomfortable, especially when they are new. This problem may go away as they get more warn. Keep in mind that because these gloves are quite small, there is probably not going to be room to wear glove liners inside of them.

What a waste!

I can't believe Amazon actually sells this as extra large. In an effort to find gloves that will fit my husbands quite big hands I turned to Amazon because they have such a selection but the people who sewed this simply expanded the pattern and didn't even consider lengthening the fingers! The fingers are the same length as on my gloves with the result that these fit onto his fingers up to the last section of finger then just stop. What a waste!

Do not buy these gloves

They are really cheap. I am in China they did not even cost over 10 dollars plus tax and delivery fees. But they are the worst pair of gloves I have ever purchased. They keep shedding a lot of lint from the first day I wore them and several days later I was surprised to find my right thumb had worn out. There is a hole in it. Yes, it is true. A hole!
