Good replacement for Toto flapper.

Easy to install, seems to be good quality. Original flapper lasted ten years, so time will tell.

Got it to work

My original review: "Does not work on all Toto models. The holes are not large enough to move freely so when the flap goes up, it stays up." After cleaning out one of the mounting holes I was able to get this to work, I changed my review to four stars because the price $3.50 for this add on item was excellent. I would purchase again.

How to improve function

Many complained that the holes were too small and this prevented the flapper from pivoting down all the way and not creating a seal. This is true, however, I put some vaseline petroleum jelly in the holes first and this solved the problem. I put silicone on the flapper for the other toilet. Both are still working perfectly after 2 months.

It works right off. No more hissing and leaking, but the darn thing is so flimsy (can't tell from the picture). Not sure how long it will last. Knock on wood!

3 inch plunger vs 2 inch plunger

I didn't read the description well enough and compare it to my toilet type which appears to have 2 inch flapper mechanism. My mistake but Amazon handle the credit nicely

It works but wouldn't buy again

The manufacturer added a small plastic guard on the chain clip for some reason with no documentation. It took me 30 minutes to install verses 5 minutes. I finally cut the guard off and it took two more minutes to install. Just cut it off if you buy this.

Fit my toilet well. Sometimes it doesn't go down all the way and water still leaks out, but 99% of the time, I don't have any issues flushing.

Perfect Toto flapper replacement

Replaced an original Toto flapper with this product and it fits perfectly. The rubber is softer and bends more easily than the original one making a better seal.
