The details on this hat are great, it’s not flimsy and very well made! The logo lights up and has many sound options, if you’re a fan of the show you definitely need this hat! Just know this hat is for kids and not sized for adults, the kids will love it.

Good quality but odd fitting

The helmet is made well in terms of materials and details for a toy helmet. I just feel like the dimensions are a little odd since the helmet is way more narrow that it is long. So it only fits the advertised head circumferences as long as the kid’s head meets the proportions of the helmet. Toddlers can have very different head proportions and this toy doesn’t take that into account. Also I can see the appeal to a kid to use this toy helmet as a real helmet while riding a bicycle so maybe it’s better to look for a real helmet just to be safe.

A cool fire hat

Press it in front and it will emit light and sound. It can be adjusted in size. It is a little heavy and of good quality. Children like to play with it, but they can only play for a while.

Well made but underwhelming

This is a well made hat and the sizing band is stiff rubber rather than the sharp plastic that most are made of. The lights and sounds are a bit underwhelming though. The lights are just inside the emblem on the front and aren’t very noticeable. The sounds are almost all phrases from the show, which is fine, but my little guy is way more interested in the siren sound and they only way to play it for the few seconds it runs is to keep tapping the emblem and circle through all of the sounds.

Sturdy and well fitting

This helmet fits both my 3 year old and almost 6 year old thanks to the adjustable straps. It is way better than any other play helmet we've had since its both sturdy and adjustable. They love pushing the buttons and hearing the various sounds and phrases. They prefer it now over the helmets that came with their firefighter costumes.

So much better than a typical fire helmet!

Firebuds is a popular show in our home, so this was a must-order for our dress-up obsessed child. The helmet itself is sturdy, with an adjustable headband inside to ensure good fit. There is an on/off switch inside with easy access to change batteries if needed. I was most pleased to find that despite having a speaker on the front of the helmet, the sound isn’t too loud and seems very safe for little ears. This is a big hit in our home!

Perfect Prop

My daughter adores this Firebuds firefighter helmet. The colors and design are perfectly true to Bo's on the show. There are a fun variety of sounds at the push of the Firebuds emblem (sirens, engines, show dialogue, theme song) that really help to enhance the experience. The interior adjustment ring makes it easy to fit a wide-range of head sizes.
