„Blaire“ yra universalūs sandalai, kupini patogumo ir mados. „Blaire“ yra užpildytas kreida Doc Marten DNR, o pastatytas ant mūsų naujo lengvo „Ziggy“ pado. Reguliuojami dirželiai užtikrina individualų prigludimą, o suformuotos kojinės kiekviename sandale reiškia, kad jos yra pakankamai patogios visą dieną. Daktaras Martensas yra legendų dalykas. Viskas prasidėjo netoli Miuncheno (Vokietija) 1945 m., kai daktaras Klausas Maertensas sužalojo koją slidinėdamas Bavarijos Alpėse. Kad gijimo proceso metu būtų lengviau vaikščioti, jis sukūrė batus su oro pagalvėlės padu. Naudodamas senas gumines padangas, jis sukonstravo padus, kurių uždaruose skyriuose buvo įstrigęs oras. Jis parodė savo prototipą savo draugui inžinieriui / išradėjui daktarui Herbertui Funckui ir kartu jie nusprendė sukurti ir pagaminti batus. Batas ne tik išsprendė tiesioginę gydytojo problemą, bet ir pradėjo gerai prekiauti Vokietijoje. Iki 1959 m. jiedu nusprendė, kad jiems reikia įmonės, kuri gamintų ir platintų batus, tuo metu vadintus Dr. Maertens, kitose pasaulio vietose. Iš pradžių daugelis gamintojų atmetė oro pagalvėlės pado koncepciją kaip trumpalaikį triuką. Tačiau R. Griggs Group, įsikūrusi Wollaston kaime Anglijoje, nusprendė įgyvendinti šią idėją ir sukūrė pirmąjį darbinį batą su revoliuciniu padu. 1960 m. balandžio 1 d. buvo pagaminti pirmieji vyšninės raudonos spalvos aštuonių akučių darbiniai batai, pavadinti 1460. Kad prekės ženklas būtų geriau parduotas Anglijoje, pavadinimas angliškai buvo pavadintas daktaru Martensu. Asortimentas buvo pavadintas AirWair, o visa kita yra istorija. DO NOT SIZE DOWN!

I listened to the reviews that said to size down and that is not good advice! A size down causes your heel to hang off and toes to be too squished at the top. These are an adorable shoe and fairly lightweight in comparison to a lot of Dr Martens. The straps at the top don’t fit tight against your foot and are not adjustable. I wish they were a bit tighter. The ankle straps are adjustable. I reordered my true shoe size and they fit fine. Although, I am already getting blisters on my ankles after just an hour of walking around my house. I am hoping once the shoes are broken in that they will no longer cause discomfort. The shoes feel nice on the soles only my feet so far minus the digging on the ankles. They are quite a loose shoe. So far these shoes seem to be more of a fashion statement than a shoe you would feel comfortable walking hours in. Once they are broken in I will update this review for others to read.

Cute but scratched

The cutest sandals. Comfortable sole. I sized down a half size. Usually 6.5-7, bought these in a 6. Unfortunately, the top strap scrapes against my ankles no matter how loose or tight I make them. Have to wear band aids there. Also, both the first "try before you buy" pair and the second pair, which I ended up keeping, were delivered with scratches on the leather.

I wear a size 11/10.5 in most women’s shoes but I ordered size 10 in these because of previous reviews! I am glad I did, size 10 fits best in length as well as in the straps although the third strap furthest from the toes is somewhat loose which is somewhat frustrating. Other than that I will be using them and seeing how things go.

Great shoes run 1 size big

First ordered in my normal size of 9. Way too big. Returned for a size 8 and they fit perfect. I have a wider foot and these are very comfortable. If you have a narrow foot-these are not the shoes for you. Arch support hits just right. Only complaint in the ankle strap in the right foot is rubbing my ankle. Will break them in a bit and that should fix that. Just received today and am wearing around the house. So far love them!

Cute but a little big

Love these sandals, they’re just a little big and rub on the inside of my ankle and top of my ankle. I have to put a bandaid on certain areas to prevent rubbing. Other than that I love them! I get so many compliments.

Best Sandals!

These are by far my favorite Dr. Martens sandals. They are so comfortable and great quality! I’m a true size 8.5, I ordered 8 and they fit perfect. I also love the padded back strap, so no worries about rubbing or blisters. My summer staple! Buy them, you won’t regret it.

i’m a 1/2 size, so i went down 1 size, and fit is perfect. some spacing on top straps, but this actually help’s your feet flex. haven’t needed any breaking in. wore all day first day. quality and stitching great.

Cute and Great Quality

This is such a cute sandal and is made to last. I have worn it to church, going out, and even just with friends. Very versatile! I did get a blister the first time wearing and the sizing is a bit weird ( I sized down), but overall a great shoe!

Great for wider feet

For context- my feet a large, high arch, and wide width. I usually need a 10.5 wide, or size up to an 11. I purchased the size 10 after reading reviews. They feel great, fit well, but the ankle strap rubs when I walk, so wouldn't wear these on days when I need to do a lot of errands or walk a lot. Cute, but definitely not an every day wear.

Lovely comfortable sole, straps are a little wide and hard but I'm sure once they have been worn in a bit they won't be rubbing on my ankle as much. I would definitely recommend these shoes but I'd buy them in advance if they are for holidays just to soften the strap around the ankle a bit.
