Cut the game hens right up

Granted, the bones of game hens are not as thick and tough as a regular chicken. It cut my cornish game hens in half across the breastbone and back bone fairly easily, even with my weak hands and arthitis.

Radical Design Achieves It's Purpose

Clever design. Especially for those who have arthritis in their thumbs or hands. Blades are extremely sharp and the places of contact are smooth. No resistance to open/close. Very good product - if you can get the darn thing open. Dangerous, really, as packaging is industrial strength impossible and the blades are packaged open and exposed. You take a risk, if you finally do break into it.

Very durable. Sharp also. I use it to cut the backs out of chickens and turkeys for flat roasting.

Smashing Scissors

Take a touch of getting used to and you need to be careful with the bottom blade. Marginal improvement on a standard pair when cutting pizza but a shade better than a wheel (they drag the toppings all over)

Good scissors...

... but made in China like comparable scissors available at Amazon at quarter the price. The difference between the two? These come three-quarters of the way around the globe via the US (thought Fiskars were Scandinavian, obviously not!). The cheap ones come straight into the UK, would be my guess. These expensive ones come apart (care when washing/drying, they come apart even if you don't mean them to!). Reassuringly thick stainless steel. Strong, and cut really well. Will have to see if they keep their sharpness better than the (ambidextrous) cheapies (as you can see these are handed ie non-symmetrical handles). So would be 5 stars but minus 1 for what looks like ridiculous scissor-miles and price.

These scissors are amazing!!

This is hands down the best and most useful Christmas present I have ever given my husband. Not only are they excellent pizza cutting scissors, they are good for everything. They are nice and sharp and do every job you can think of. They come apart easily for cleaning, and can go in the dishwasher with no issues. They have been used daily since Christmas and have been in the dishwasher 50 times easily, and they still look and feel brand new! Glad I spent the extra money to finally get a good pair of scissors for pizza and more!!
