Pretty colors, attractive wooden train.

This was purchased as a gift for a one year old who is playing with it and enjoying it. It is sturdy and attractive. The pieces are large enough for a young toddler to play with.

good quality wooden train

This is a really nice wooden toy. The pictures and colors are vibrant, the wood is nice and solid. I have purchased this for my 1 yr old and she seems to like it a lot. She is getting good at pulling the blocks of the pegs as they are kind of thin and and more challenging that other toys recommended for this age. It definitely develops the fine motor skills and I can absolutely see her playing with it even down the road when she tries to figure out how to stack the differently shaped block so they fit nicely. This is a nice sturdy your little one will enjoy!

Perfect toy

Bought this for my 17 month granddaughter. She enjoyed trying to get the blocks on the pegs and would return to the toy multiple times during the day. She put them in her mouth, she pounded on them, but overall she enjoyed the toy. She doesn't understand yet matching colors or even putting the circles into the correct groove but she'll learn. My first impressions are that this is a good toy!!

Liked the idea of this, but pieces are smaller than the Melissa & Doug version

This is nicely made, but the pieces are smaller than the M&D version of a train. I bought this to give my son a different take on a train, but he wasn't that much interested in this.

Wonderful toy!

My daughter got this toy for her first birthday, and she loves it! She has a lot of fun stacking and unstacking the blocks in different orders on the train, and she also likes to push the train around. Our older daughter who is 4 loves it as well. I like the fact that it is wooden and makes no sound, it is a more open ended and imaginative toy. It is adorable and well made, should last for years to come!

Great toy for our 17 month old!

Our 17 month old took to this train immediately! First, he pulled all the blocks off the pegs. Then, he started try to put the blocks back on the train. The square blocks were easier, the cylinders are a little more difficult. My husband and I had fun watching him try to figure it out. I have been looking for a toy to hold his attention and have had no success. Thank you!

Can't go wrong

Purchased this train while searching for a sturdy set of blocks for my 18 month old. It is lovely and is the best of both worlds... A train plus stacking blocks. All wood construction. Colors are vibrant and each block has a different shape and design. I can see this toy growing with him for years since some blocks require more dexterity to stack on the dowels than others. Looks great on the toy shelf too!

Really good value, very well made and generally very lovely I gave this as a "new baby" as it made a change from giving baby clothes. Look lovely on display in the babies room for now but will have longevity as I know that even my 5 year old still plays with a similar one that he was given as a baby. Helps aid teaching colours, shapes and aid the development of hand eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Beautiful toy

My son 15 months old has been playing with this train for 2 weeks, at the moment he is just keen on taking it apart and I am hoping he will soon like to stack the pieces together. I love the look of it and it is the kind of toy that I will keep in the future as it is a beautiful object well made. It is a clever toy that tick many boxes, it is a stacking toy, it can be rolled and it is pleasant to look at. Overall we are very happy with this wooden train.

Beautiful toy. Arrived quickly in perfect condition. Xmas present for my son's first Xmas. Will be a while before he can truly play with it so will look lovely displayed in his room in the meantime.
