Very comfortable and warm.

It fit well. It is best suited, at least for me, for temps below 50 degrees. Feels better against the skin than technical fabrics but is much warmer. I wore it riding horseback in 50 degree weather and found it a bit warm. I loved wearing it.

Short Fitting

I wanted to love the shirt... unfortunately after getting it and feeling just how fantastic it felt, it was a solid bit too short.

I love these shirts! Not too thin like some other merino wool shirts and still feature all the good merino attributes.

so-so for Icebreaker

So-so at best. The fit is generic, not flattering across even a modest gut, even in XL. The tiny "icebreaker" logo in the middle of the chest looks like you got some dirt on your shirt, at least on the light-colored ("ecru") fabric. That mini logo should be on the hem, or side seam, or upper back, or sleeve, or really anywhere else. Icebreaker is one of my favorite "premium" clothing brands, and I was hoping for a little lighter version (color and fabric) for warmer climates. But this really didn't excite me despite being priced lower than the 100% wool Icebreaker. It might wear fine (if unflattering), but it's not Icebreaker quality, so it's going back.

50/50 cotton/merino

Thought I'd try this blend. I prefer 100% merino. Cotton doesn't keep warm when wet like Merino and synthetic

Not great.

Firstly the cut of it......it feels like it's back to front. The neckline at the front sits too high and the back sits a bit low. I've worn it a good few times now and it's been washed twice but is starting to look worn already. Can't see it lasting. The anti bac of the merino wool works great though, no whiffy pits at all.....shame about the rest.

Expensive, but worth the price!

Second time that I purchased Icebreaker t-shirts. The first ones have lasted eight years of steady wear, and these appear to be of the same quality. The fit is perfect. The comfort is over-the-top, and I'm a confirmed customer.
