Versatile

I use it with my flirt pole and after 3 uses the fringe looks a little frayed but the rest looks good.

Soft and durable

I purchased this for my puppy, Dezirae. She likes to play tug on my yoga pants, so this is a great alternative. I would recommend this as it is super soft and long for puppies with poor depth perception.

NOT ALL FLEECE TOY- HAS WHITE STRINGS WHICH ARE CHOKING HAZARD

Ordered one similar to this & loved it- it was all fleece from same company. It had a ball attached on handle part which I didn't like, which is why I purchased this one. Only received handle with first order, replacement came with handle & rope. But that's when I realized that it wasn't ALL fleece as was previous one with ball attached from same company. This one has a white layer of STRINGS woven into the fleece. UGH, Choking, digestive issue when eaten. STRINGS are not what I thought I was ordering. I thought I was just ordering same one I previously ordered just without the ball attached.

Worth The Buy

My dogs favorite rope. Was best for when he was a puppy and he didn't know how to unravel it. But it takes him a while and it's his favorite rope. My hands never get accidentally bit and the rope can handle a 61lb dog yanking on it around the corner. It's never ripped or broken in that way.

Strings shed instantly

The fleece is OK as far as durability goes, but the white stringy stuff fell apart instantly and is a hazard for my dog. I can't let him play with it for very long because each time it ends up with me pulling strings out of his mouth.

Lasted less than 5 minutes

Our puppy has this torn up in less then 5 minutes :(

soft but not as sturdy or interactive as his other rope toys

My dog is always thrilled to get a new toy, and he loves rope/ pull toys. Fr him it is one of the better interactive toys, because he is a big and active dog. He likes playing tug of war and fetch, and of course, anything he can chew on. The grip n tug toy is one of the lesser rope toys we have. It feels like braided nylon stockings. He does like how soft it is, and treats it more like his stuffed toys than the othjer tugs. Of the several we have, his favorite has a rubber ball on hte end which makes it one we can throw and he can really chew. It was just a few minutes before he had figured out how to unbraid it. There is not a lot to this toy, and I do not expect it to last. I will leave the rating at "like" because he does like it, until I see how long it lasts. I do not have grerat expectations. It does not feel very sturdy, but I have been wrong before. I would say my dog likes but does not love it. Usually the new toy is the favorite. This morning when we got up he curled up on his beg with the Grip n Tug, and 2 minutes later appeared at my computer with his favorite (Kyajen) hedgehog.

Good concept

I found that when my dogs grabbed the tug and shook it back and forth she often whacked her head on the handle part as I was holding it. I also did not like the string woven into the fleece. It is very dangerous for ingesting so had to unravel the whole tug and remove these dangerous strings. It would have been a five star if it was total fleece.
