Exactly what I expected

This vest was exactly what I wanted. The zipper is made out of plastic. Not sure how long it will last, but I would continue wearing it anyway.

Well Made and a Perfect fit

I bought 3 of these to keep one in each car for roadside emergencies, walking at night and hiking on my property (protection from trespassing hunters). I think its perfect for any of those reasons. The XL fit is pefect for me (5'8" 220 lbs) and not so large that my wife or son can't use it in a pinch. The mesh material is sturdy and great because I wear it over whatever I have on and it won't add any bulk or warmth. It has nicely sewn seams and a full size zipper instead of the velcro or snaps on cheaper models. And the reflective material shines brightly when light is applied. I wish it had pockets but not a big deal. I'm not sure if this is going to stand up to daily heavy duty professional work, but I don't notice anything cheap or vulnerable about it. Much better than those cheap plastic ones.
