Fits hippy built women like me!!

My mom used to say that I have “ baby making hips,” because I would have such a hard time finding jeans that would fit my hips without a big waist gap that I would have to belt up. Didn’t expect these to be any different. However, they are a mid rise and it is hard to find them nowadays since the high waisted jeans are the style. REFUSE to buy those damn things! Who asked us 70’s babies if we wanted to bring it back again???? ???? LOL! Anyway, I am 5’7 and flux between 125-130lbs. I have saddle bags and “baby got back” hence the jean shopping trauma but this style of Rock Republic has changed my life! There is enough stretch in the jean to fit my body snuggly but not enough to keep me from breathing like the Ditto jeans did back in the 80’s! The waist line is tapered obviously, specifically for women who were put on this earth to make babies..????..did I say that out loud?? It’s still a little bit big but not a 20 thousand light year gap. I have purchased one more pair since these! I’m pretty sure I have died and gone to jean heaven!

Lovely fit…but there is a flaw

This is a lovely, long pair of jeans for women taller than 5’5”. I am 5’9” and i can attest to that. However the flaw in this jean is that metal monogram on the right, back pocket/. I have two tears in my leather driver’s seat cover in my car. Had I caught that before this would get 4 stars. Also, it is hell to remove. You need to have a tailor or a seamstress remove it as they will likely need to cut the pocket. My tailor is on the next street and it is a cheap fix. So you would have to consider how large this inconvenience is to you. Overall I think this fit makes up for that flaw but the company needs to reconsider putting that piece of metal on the pants and perhaps opt for a small embroidered monogram.

I nearly lost it when Kohl’s quit carrying rock and republic jeans

It took years, but I finally found a gene that I really liked that fit well, and was well-made. I was disappointed when Kohl’s quit carrying Rock & Republic jeans. I was delighted to find that these were on Amazon, and they come in a long length so that you can wear them with boots or higher heels, without worrying about them being too short! They fit me just great and I love the way they look!
