First time Village Candle user-- love it

First of all, it looks just like that other brand. So, visually, they're pretty candles. Secondly, the packaging was great for what it was. It was the only thing I bought and the packaging for it as a singular item was sufficient. Smell is great. Some have complained it's a different coffee smell, and maybe it is. But to me, it smells like coffee, and especially more so than any other candles available. The 2 wicks makes it really melt quickly upon initially lighting it, so you don't have to wait 45 minutes to start smelling it, however, it somehow doesn't burn up quickly. We've already lit ours probably 10+ times and there's still half the candle left. Overall, 8.5-9 out of 10 for me. Tough to get any higher on my scale!

Initially didn't like but got better

When you initially smell it/light it, it has a very FAKE too sweet of an aroma. But after burning through the intial layer it became much more pleasant. Will buy again.

Strong coffee

Love this scent. It is a strong rich coffee aroma. Placed it in the guest bathroom and the scent traveled into living and kitchen area. I ordered this candle again. I do not want to be without it

Almost a yankee candle

Nice aroma ( sweeter smelling than coffee) lasts almost as long as a yankee candle.

Smells like fresh brewed coffee throughout the house

I am just thrilled to have found the perfect, most authentic coffee scented candle that actually throws a strong scent across multiple rooms. I can even smell this candle when it’s unlit, if the lid is not on! Village Candles are my favorite, and outperform Yankee when it comes to how strong and delicious the scents are, not to mention Village Candles are cheaper. If you love coffee, this candle is for you!

Great Scent for Coffee Lovers!

With two wicks the scent was just too over powering to be in the room with it! Although I think it would've been just as good with one! I like this scent especially in the morning after having coffee! Someone would appreciate this scent also as a gift!

Thois candle lasts and lasts...but I think it is the pecans I don't like in there. Too much nut scent, not enough bean.

Sweet smell of success

For ages we have looked for a candle that produces that "special "coffee aroma, none of the big manufactures seem to supply anything close to what we wanted until we came across village candles. We ordered it, it came so well packed in bubble wrap, jiffy bag, there was no way this 26oz jar could get damaged. when we first took the lid off to smell it we knew that this was the one to have. After lighting its 2 WICKS the room soon had the aroma of coffee beans drifting into the the adjoining rooms. When we came down in the morning the smell was still lingering, its always alight so now I need to reorder.

CANDLES ARE DEFECTIVE AND AMAZON DOESN'T WANT TO ISSUE REFUND!!!! These candles do not burn properly .he wax pools on the inside and extinguishes the flame. Save your money and DO NOT SHOP AT AMAZON. The quality os crap and they do not stand behind their products. Dealing with Amazon staff is like banging your head against a brick wall.

More like a bitter dark roasted bean than a fresh cup of ground coffee

Not sure about this one. Yes it does smell authentic, but to me it smells more like burnt coffee grounds or burnt beans rather than freshly brewed coffee. It's does have hints of bitter dark chocolate, but it's more of a bitter dark roast ( a bit like an Italian roast) then freshly brewed cup of java. I guess it depends on the kind of coffee scent you're after, I don't think I'll be buying this again, but I'm happy to use it. it does have a decent throw and it's not overpowering in my living room, it's just not quite what I was after.
