Beautiful and great quality

These light fixtures are well made and beautiful for an affordable price. I bought two of these for the foyer in our new house. They look even better in person. I wanted something with a farmhouse feel but with a classic beauty and these fit the bill to a T. I am very happy with this purchase and everyone who sees them comments on how beautiful they are.

Perfect for our 1940’s cottage

We are renovating a 1940’s house and this light fixture works perfectly. We didn’t use the down rod provided since we had to shorten the length. Our ceilings were only 8’ in the kitchen which is where we hung the light.

Bright Light for Eat-in-Kitchen

Nice bright light for our eat-in-kitchen. Fits with our traditional-style kitchen without looking like it’s a dated fixture.

Perfect for High Ceilings

We installed these to replace overhead light fixtures in a Victorian apartment. The rooms have very high ceilings, so it was great to be able to adjust these to the height we wanted (see photos). As others have said, they are relatively light weight for a metal fixture, but when installed they look substantial. The effect in both rooms is really nice. The finish is quite dark - almost appears black, but that was fine for our use. We used warm soft white LED bulbs & have these on a dimmer switch which makes it great. Can give plenty of light or tone it down. When we installed these we found it was helpful to have two people when attaching to the ceiling - just so one could take the weight off while the other screwed it to the ceiling.

They did a good job creating a re-pop fixture

Overall this chandelier hits on the look. They did a good job creating a re-pop fixture; the glass shades are good quality, the lamp itself is very thin gauge metal allowing some flex here and there. You will need to adjust various parts once hung to get everything in line and square as like I said it will flex a little and have slight deformations out of the package (very little). The finish is not oil rubbed but rather a flat/textured black spray paint applied, this does rub off onto your fingers when installing (though it doesn't come off the fixture itself). Good fixture if looking for a repop fixture to fit your 1920-1930s era home.

I purchased this after seeing it on Chris Loves Julia (Blog). This is perfect for a vintage look in our old house. Love it and it was a fraction of the price a similar light would have been at a high end retailer.

Great fixture for the money

Just love this light and how classy it looks in my dining room. I added a dimmer switch which makes it even nicer since you can control the brightness.

The finishes are not what was expected

I bought this for the design and school house globes which I love, but their oil rubbed bronze is a flat black finish instead of the brown finish which the picture online and on the actual box portrays. I still like it and keeping it, but it's not a good match for all the other true "oil rub bronze" finishes in my kitchen. The globes are a high gloss white globe, and not a frosted dull finish. Just adding that comment too because that too would have changed my decision to purchase.
