My feet say Ahhhh

I just adore these slippers. When I put them on I know I am home. Had them 7 months now and am still in love with the fit and comfort. I love the squirrel embroidery, very intricate. Can I have a new pair? They are pricey but check all the boxes which is perfect, no trying and returning until you find the just right pair. Now my hubs knows what to buy me. Make the splurge, you won't be sorry.

Great slippers

At this moment I like everything about these slippers! They are warm and comfortable, the toe box is wide enough to not give me “foot claustrophobia” and the back is just high enough to keep them on my feet. The sizing is true, but if they stretch too much I will wish I had ordered a size smaller as i’m afraid they will slip off my heel.

My First Pair of Acorn Slippers

I’ve been wearing the forest purple hedgehog slippers for 3 days and here’s my thoughts on them. They are nice and comfortable. I purchased the XL 9.5-10.5 bc I couldn’t make up my mind about the size due some say they run big and some say they are snug or small. The width of the slippers are bigger than a normal medium and the length is compared to 10.5. So for me I normally wear women’s size medium shoe 9.5 for a regular casual, dress shoe, or sandal and a 10m for a boot, or sneakers. My foot is between narrow and medium. I have a long slender foot. The slippers are wide and I have 1 “ of toe room with a thin pair of socks on. When I put on a thicker sock the width feels a little wide and toe room about 1”. They are a lot better with a thicker sock on but I don’t want to wear a thick sock with these. I like a thin sock and if I go with no socks my feet are going swimming inside from to much width. I like the design and the Berber is soft and my feet didn’t hurt at all walking around in them on tile and wood floors. I have very sensitive feet so that was good, I even walked outside my garage on the sidewalk in them and felt like they have good support. I paid full price 54.00 for my slippers and debated whether to return them and chickened out and ordered another pair for 29.00 a different style the Acorn Moc chinchilla size L 8-9 and received them today and I really the like the fit and look great. These have a full covered heel and with thin socks on fit perfect. Now my toe is close to the top and the width fits like a glove and I have a little wiggle room, more room if no sock is on. They even feel comfortable with a thicker sock and I still can wiggle my toe with no pressure. So my size is L 8-9. Since the purple hedgehogs are a slid on I can live with the extra room but I do wish I had gotten the L. I’m home recovering from back surgery and didn’t want to worry someone to return them for me since I can’t drive. It is expensive this way but I was in need of a new slipper that wasn’t crowding my toe and comfortable. Even though the weather here in Florida isn’t as cold as up north I travel and with tile floors they get cold when the temperature drops. I deducted a point because of the size chart variation otherwise I would have given a 5. Hopefully my review on the size of this slipper can help someone get the right size the first time! I hope I can get years of use out of these like others have! Happy shopping!????

Great Slippers

Got these as a gift for my best friend. She has really wide feet and these fit her perfectly. She loves squirrels and absolutely loved these.

Ok for size 10.5 feet after some stretching; wool is slightly itchy

My feet are two different sizes (Left is 10, right is 10.5) -- the left shoe fits fine, the right shoe is tight at the foot entry hole (idk if there's a specific term for this part and I'm just having a brain fart?) -- I have a slight wool sensitivity (I can wear certain merino wools, but non-merino makes me really itchy) and my right foot is itching like crazy at the top of the arch, my left foot is fine -- I think my right foot is itchy because the slippers are too small for my size 10.5 right foot and so the wool outer rim is touching my skin, causing irritation. I'm hoping they'll stretch out with time, but I'm kinda disappointed because I have another pair from Acorn and they were perfect straight from the box. I can't stand how much my right foot itches right now though, I have to keep taking them off ???? the squirrel embroidery is cute af tho Update 12-April-2022: After wearing these everyday for about a week, they stretched to accommodate my large feet lol... The itchiness of the wool became less noticeable after the slippers stretched to size, which was nice. The slippers were comfortable and easy to slip on and off, and I could fit light socks with them on, which was also a plus -- The one thing I didn't quite like is how easily dog hair would get attached to the outside wool/inside liner -- the inside liner was also quickly decimated by daily use ????‍???? which was rather unfortunate, but, I still liked this brand enough that I bought another pair of slippers from them ... I stand by my 4 star rating

Warm and soft

Really cute and comfortable slippers. They are a little boxy so if you have narrow feet these might not be a good fit for you. I have been wearing them everyday and really love how they feel on my feet. The sole of the shoe is not stiff like some slippers.

These are my second pair of acorn slippers! I had the moose pattern before and they lasted me three years (and two pregnancies lol). Worth every penny!
