These are nice quality house numbers....

And overall, I'd give them a 5..... except for the number 4. We bought 5 of these. 4 of them were fine. However, one of the mounting lugs on the back of the "4" was cast at an angle - which made it difficult to mount in a concrete wall. I made a template of the position of the numbers out of cardboard, leveled and plumbed the template (the 5 letters come out to be about 29" long so it's rather important that they be plumb as I installed them vertically), marked the holes, and then drilled them with a small carbide bit and then enlarged the hole to accommodate the plastic anchors. All was going well until I got to the "4". The lug wasn't straight so the mounting pin (which screws into said lug) was at an angle rather than straight out. When pounding a casting into concrete... there's a huge risk of fracturing it. The bent pin didn't help much. I ended up making the hole bigger and stuffing a larger plastic anchor into the enlarged hole. Ended up working out but.... they need to work on their QC a bit. Overall, I'm pleased with the look and quality of the items. This review was brought to you by "the number four". :-D (Those who brought their kids up on Sesame Street will get the joke).

Frustrating but worth the effort

They look great. Unfortunately the mounting pins are not perpendicular to the number. So they go in at an angle and thwart every attempt to make the numbers level. Requires bending the pins and trial and error. Worth the effort, but frustrating. Happy with final result

Elegant

An elegant way to put together your home address. These were mounted on the front a newly built garbage can screen to give it an upgrade (along with some paint and trim). Looks very nice and have received many compliments.

Transitional letters

Perfect color of dark brown. These colors should fade a little over time. Finish of the letters scratches with dirt or rocks. Letters are perfect balance of rustic and modern especially in oil rubbed bronze

Pin mounted letters - work fine!

I was a little worried about how the pins would work, but they are good so far in my application on wood sheathing.

VERY DRAMATIC ON OUR HOME!

Bought 4 additional numbers from this seller. One of the numbers was missing mounting screws; contacted seller, and they shipped them to me very quickly. Thank you!! The numbers are all mounted on the house, and they really are stunning. Great seller, great item!!

Very nice number, I ended up exchanging for the satin ...

I am not downgrading my review on account of this but be aware that these are very dark, much darker than you would think from the picture. The description reads "dark aged copper" so believe that and not the picture. Very nice number, I ended up exchanging for the satin nickel.
