Not good for 15oz of coffee.

Although the machine is very simple and easy to use, there are a couple of problems. Problem number one is that there is no timer of any sort. It's either on or off. Not sure why since once it makes the coffee, it can't keep the cup warm but can make for a fairly impressive burst of steam if you don't notice it's on and add more water. Problem number two, which is more bothersome since I added an outlet with a timer to take care of Problem one. If you like 15 ounces of coffee and add the recommended amount of coffee grounds, the machine can't handle that much without making a mess. When the coffee grounds swell with moisture, they hit the water dispenser and will then fall into the reservoir when you open it next. I've started adding a little less coffee and it's better, but if you like a 15 ounce cup of strong coffee, this is not the coffee maker for you. The pictures are from using about 3 tablespoons of coffee grinds instead of the 4 that I'd usually use.

Inexpensive One Cup Coffee Maker Works Well

Great way to make a really good cup of coffee quickly and efficiently. This is my second Bella one cup coffee maker and once again I'm pleased. It comes with a permanent filter which makes clean up a breeze. I find that also inserting a paper filter in the filter basket improves flavor and just requires me to quick rinse filter basket. Only negatives are that there is no measure on machine for water level, and you must switch off the machine manually which is a safety issue Bella should address.

Es muy practica

Esta cafetera se mira bien sencilla, me gusta porque no necesita de filtro de papel y también la mayoría de las veces solo preparo café para mi esposo y no tengo que ensuciar el vaso de vidrio de la cafetera grande porque cae directamente en la taza de café. Pero note que a veces parece que rebalsa por dentro y el café cae en el lugar donde coloco el agua y luego hay que echarle agua para sacar el café que cayó allí. De lo contrario el café sale muy bueno, a mi y mi esposo nos gusta el café fuerte y sale exactamente como nos gusta.

Great, simple product- but...

I've had this coffee maker for over a year now and it makes a consistently good cup of coffee. I'd say there's only one flaw though- no automatic off. You have to remember to turn the thing off after using it or it'll just stay on.

Makes a great cup of coffee!

I discovered the Bella single cup coffee makers years ago and bought one for $20 on Amazon, I think they’re $30 regular price now. Foolishly I gave my first one away and saw the price was up to $30. I got lucky and came across it on sale again for about $20 and immediately bought another one. It works exactly the same way, very simple to operate, and produces an excellent cup of coffee every single time. The one downside for me is that it’s not the easiest to clean. You have to clean out the reusable filter basket after each use and I’m a procrastinator. Would definitely recommend, but wait until it’s sale!

it’s very cheaply made but what did I expect for $20. It works but reminds me of something for playhouse. I was going to send back but decided to keep for RV it’s light and small. Doesn’t turn itself off, I must of read something else. Remember you get what you pay for
