Why are they SO LOUD??

Works great for cutting fabric, I love them for sewing, but they are SO loud. I live in an apartment and I'm a night owl so I do most of my sewing in the middle of the night but I can't use these because I am 100% sure I will start getting complaints from the neighbors. Make them quieter and they'll be perfect.

Work well but a little tricky

I bought these for cutting scraps to stuff pillows with. They are a bit cumbersome but over well relieve my hands from having to use a scissors. They have allowed me to complete twice as much cutting. A little hard to push the button and hold onto but am getting the hang of it.

If you are crafting in a shared space and want to use this or trying to wrap Christmas presents late at night DONT USE THIS. Mine was so loud you could hear it across the house, however it's quick and efficient

MAKES CUTTING FRABIC AND PLASTIC SEALED CONTAINERS EASY

A must have for arthritic hands with mobility limitations. Great gift for yourself or someone that you know with hand problems. This device is very sharp and cuts quickly. I do recomment giving at least 1/8 inch extra in cutting patterns. Does vibrate a lot when used on hard surface. Better to hold object being cut up. Is loud, my husband called it, " a bodacious insect" sound.

These Scissors are amazing . They were charged up when they arrived so I got right to work making t shirt yarn for crocheted rag rugs.

What a Godsend!

I find opening irregularly-shaped plastic-wrapped commercial foods to be a pain, especially with my arthritis. This electric scissors is wonderful. it has two cutting beaks that are easily exchanged, and the heavier one can cut through corrugated cardboard. It is a cinch to maneuver and it holds its charge for months. Most highly recommended.

I bought maybe one of the first of these to be on the market. It finally quit. Can't live without it. Had to order another one. I'd say the first one was 20 or 30 years old. You will love yours. Makes a great gift.

Works well but needs practice to operate successfully. Yes it is a wee tad noisy but if you have problems with your hands handling regular scissors, then this id=s definitely the way to go.
