Nice stretch fabric, but no flow

These Callaway shorts fit great! They are nice and stretchy, so when I move my legs, I'm not limited by how much the fabric of the legs can move. There are two drawbacks in my opinion. First, the fabric is super-stretchy, but it doesn't breathe. My legs get SO HOT AND SWEATY when I'm wearing these. The other is a problem common to all "shorts" these days, that they are really "mediums" - things that cover my knees have no right to be called "shorts"!!! These are almost Capri pants! (ok, I exaggerate a little bit there) Seriously - I fold the bottom inch up four times to make these a better length.

Overall a very high quality short, and I’d definitely buy them again.

These shorts have a very light, and very well vented fabric that even has a little bit of give to it. They are especially good for hot and humid days, and they fit loosely around the legs for even more ventilation. The pockets even have a small section of vented fabric in them which is a nice additional touch. Because of the slightly flexible fabric I feel like these fall a little bit on the loose side, but they are pretty true to their size. The pockets are a pretty standard size which is large enough that I can easily fit 3 golf balls and my divot fixer and keys in a single pocket and not have anything fall out, but if I were Callaway I would make them even deeper. I have some golf pants with extra large pockets and I find that handy on the golf course. Overall a very high quality set of shorts, and I’d definitely buy them again.

Comfortable, stylish and built with attention to detail

This short fits exactly as expected and is extremely comfortable. The material is lightweight, but feels like a quality material nonetheless. The shorts wash and dry and come out without wrinkles. The material also has some stretch, enough that they remain comfortable without binding while moving, stooping or bending. The attention to detail in the design and stitching is obvious... this is not a cheap bargain short, but a design that should hold up for some time to come, which is important with the cost of such a premium short. Whether golfing or participating in any other athletic pursuit which requires flexibility, this short will support that degree of activity without restriction. I've not "sweated out" in this short; it's light enough to be cool and comfortable in most any temp, but the design of the material is such that it should wick moisture and dry quickly. For someone looking for a quality short that's designed for both looks and comfort during activity, this is a good choice.

Comfortable, quality golf shorts can be used for most outdoor activities

Although I prefer the moisture-wicking qualities of non-cotton blends, the Callaway Men's Everplay Stretch Golf Shorts fit great and look nice. Fortunately, its 66% Polyester, 26% Cotton, and 8% Elastane blend provide some moisture-wicking. Which is important for those hot summer days on the links, tennis courts, or neighborhood parks. WHAT I LIKE: The lightweight feel with just enough stretch makes these shorts very comfortable. The full-size pockets are appreciated. Granted, the angle of the front pockets isn't great for toting around a large smartphone. But it still works. I also like the moisture-wicking feature. That's important. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: Well, there's not much to dislike with these shorts. They're quality shorts any way you slice it. But if I had to pick something, I'd say the color and geometric patterns from the Dobby fabrication are slightly off. But seriously, that's splitting hairs. OVERALL RATING: I like these shorts and expect to get lots of use out of them. Hopefully, even on the golf course. Five stars.

New Favorite Shorts

While admittedly I'd have a bit of trouble stomaching the price tag, gosh, you probably get what you pay for. These shorts are fantastic. The fabric blend was evidently designed by wizards. They're remarkably comfortable, providing a perfect amount of stretch in all directions while still looking sharp. They look good enough to wear to church (depending on your church, I guess) while being functional enough to play basketball. The first time I wore them was a torture test for both of us. We visited a bunch of high-school grad parties on a 90+-degree day with high humidity. I was at least comfortable from my waist to my knees. The shorts did a great job of wicking away sweat so there were no embarrassing puddles or sweat rings... and believe me, I'm gifted in the arena of perspiration. Overall, these shorts are fantastic. Comfortable, functional, and fashionable.

They fit pretty well and are pretty comfortable. They're thin, which is probably good if you're outside on the golf course or somewhere like that.
