Perfect for Summer 2020

A fun game for the entire family. Everyone had a blast! Be sure to have s’mores supplies on hand because you will want some after playing!!

Fun Family Bid and Battle Card Game

Our family (ages 8 to adult) really enjoyed this game. It is similar to Go Nuts for Donuts, which I also recommend. It probably took us a game and a half to understand the rules completely, and that includes my eight and ten year olds. Game play takes about thirty minutes, but depends on the number of players and number of hands that end in battles. Overall difficulty level is slightly higher than Sushi Go (another great game). Adding this to our family and gifting rotation!

Most fun is had with 3-4 players

Imagine rock-paper-scissors but with cards. Each player is trying to create a complete s'more one card at a time. Each round only three cards can be given out one graham cracker, one marshmallow card and one chocolate card. If you and another player reveal that you are after the same card, you "battle" for it with the rock-paper-scissors cards...that really have nothing to do with rocks, paper or scissors. The winner is whomever has the most points. Each card has a point value assigned. After playing this game several times, we decided it works best with 3-4 players. Five is too many and each player is lucky to get one completed s'more during the game. When playing with 3-4 players you will get 2-4 completed s'mores. We received this game as a gift (it would make an excellent gift!) and it has been the most-played game in our house for the last four months! My seven and nine year old children picked up on how to play quickly and it's so fun that even the adults want to play too. While it sounds like the perfect card game for a cookout, camping trip or just a summer game night--this is one we will keep playing all year round. Though my kids are determined to make a real-life version of this game and then spend time roasting marshmallows for s'mores in the backyard afterward. That is most definitely a summertime activity as we get lots of snow in the winter.

Simple and fun

This game was simple and fun. It’s easy for kids to understand and took me and my friend only a few minutes to learn to play. It’s more fun with the more people who play! I love the theme and gave the game to my friend as a gift and she loved it!
