THE STAND-OFF IS PLASTIC!!! list price: $1100! PLASTIC????

T17T253. I returned the cheaper T17253 because it has a plastic handle and a plastic stand-off. Cheap crap from Delta. Unfortunately, Amazon was punished with the return, not Delta. Now the T17T253 has a cheap plastic stand-off. I only kept because I am changing a DELTA trim with a DELTA trim and don't have to change out the valve. To change the valve, have to cut hole in bedroom sheetrock, etc. DELTA really, really sucks. Just junk. I also bought a Delta lavatory faucet. Junk. Components below the sink: you guessed it. PLASTIC. PLASTIC. PLASTIC. They should advertise their product as PLASTIC AND STAINLESS STEEL. FAT CHANCE OF THAT!!!!

Arrived damaged but Delta Customer Service replaced parts

This is a beautiful set and looks great in a our newly remodeled master bathroom. We paired this with several other Delta fixtures to get a spa-worth shower scene. The finish stays nearly streak free after showering. The volume and temperature knobs operate smoothly. The granularity of the temperature control is amazing. Despite not being one of those large rain heads, the feeling and volume of the water is amazing. The independent volume control lets you go from a "shower" to a "down pour"! The set arrived with several pieces damaged, but I hadn't bothered to unbox it until after Amazon's return period expired. The shower arm had a wrench mark, the sleeve was bent and had plier marks, and the temperature cap's markings were illegible. Fortunately, Delta's warranty / customer service was happy to help. They are a bit difficult to deal with, but maybe that is because I only used the email instead of phone. Pro tip: find the parts reference on Delta's website and just say "Part #XXXX is damaged, give me a new one." They responded to that :)
