love this countersink but have had some issues witht the replacement bits

This is a replacement bit. I have had a lot of issues with these breaking as they do not clear the chips very well and they tend to heat up can cause a lot of blueing to the steel. They eventually snap or break off and this is a cheaper alternative to purchasing the whole unit as the countersink seems to have held up very well for me over time. I have had a lot of issues with these replacement parts in that they are not perfectly straight and have a wobble when used. I received 2 in a row and reached out to Dewalt support. They sent me 2 replacement ones which seemed fine but I received another from Amazon. It's not Amazon's fault but I recommend contacting Dewalt directly if you get a problem bit.

Great drill bits

You can save a bunch of money if you have this drill bit by just buying the replacement drill bit part . Been using them for 20 plus years and the are worth every penny and last about a year depending on what wood you are drilling in to . I use them every day for work probably drill 100 or more hole a day .

They’re amazing for about 5 minutes

They good replacement bits paired with the Dewalt countersink , for a short time. I snapped all of the original bits in a matter of minutes , bought these replacement bits and same story, snapped them all. Don’t continue wasting your money if you want something that’s gonna last!

Love these drill bits

Love these drill bits. Can't find them here in NZ, so I keep buying them on Amazon. I wish I didn't have to, but they seem to be built from snap-onium which I understand to be an alloy of glass and Chinese-ium. Surely these things could be made more durable!

Does the job

I have bought several of these, not because they are defective but because I'm not as careful as I should be. This countersink set does a great job so when I break one (My drill fell off the ladder for one) I need another to complete the work. Great tool!

Excellente mèche

Le prix est le double que dans un magasin d’outil. Mais c’est une excellente mèche conique de perçage à avoir, dont je ne peux me passer pour un meilleur vissage. Je le recommande fortement.
