Not for me

I have experimented with a variety of night splints for months to aid in healing my plantar fasciitis and have come conclusion that the boot types are the only thing that work in comfortably keeping my foot in a neutral (90 degree) position throughout the night. I have been wearing the VIVE soft boot for several months and it covers the basis without being too hard and clunky. I was looking for something more portable for travel (camping and using a mummy bag) so I bought this splint for that purpose, but it is not comfortable. It does a better job at supporting the bottom of my foot than some other dorsal boots that just have a strap there, and it is overall really well made, but there is too much pressure on the top of my foot and it gets uncomfortable for me too quickly. I think its best use would be using it for short periods of time while watching a movie or something.

Works for me for plantas fascitis pain

Soft material so easy to sleep with. Also easy to put on and take off. The material is good quality. Helps my foot rest and relax at night from plantar fascitis pain. My podiatrist recommended it. I also bought compression socks for the feet from Amazon and these are helping a lot too.

Too big for women’s size 6-7

I bought three different night splints to try out and this one was the best made, really does work and easiest to use. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the size chart says Women size 6-9. I’m a size 7-7.5 and this is too large to stay on comfortably. It’s so close to the bottom of the foot it tends to slip off. If the straps are tightened very hard to keep it on, the ball of my foot gets sore and I have to release it in middle of the night. I bought a Velcro strap to keep it more secure and hope that will help. I think it should be included with the product.

Not for me

My doctor recommended this brand but I can’t get the toe section to tighten so at night it falls off. Doesn’t work for me. Size 6 foot.

It worked!

I have been in constant pain due to PF. I was speaking to a therapist and she recommend a night splint! She instructed me to make sure the splint part was in the front allow for a stretch while sleeping. My nights are much better and the pain during the day is less. I highly recommend trying this.

Doesn't fit comfortably.

I had high hopes for this item. The idea is good, but it has two problematic areas; the toe, and heal. 1.The toe area is not for wide feet, or perhaps my foot is not long enough because my little toe would get squished and would wake me up in pain, but if I loosened the toe area my foot would angle and it could not keep the proper position. There in turn comes the heal area, there's no strap, so if you loosened the toe area your foot would move out if place. I would not spend the money on this brace, put the money towards something better.

Works wonders!

I purchased this item because of my doctors referral for achilles tendonitis. Although i have only had one night so far where i could wear it all night without it hurting, it does seem to be helping tremendous! No more hobbling for an hour after i get out of bed each morning. This one is a smart buy!

Great item

This item is great for tendinitis in your ankle. Instead of having to use a band or towel to do a stretching exercise you can use this while you are sitting or sleeping.
