Naujieji Dr. Martens myles sandalai su tvirtu, lengvu zigzago padu yra lengvai užsimaunami, kad būtų patogu visą dieną, be to, platformos aukštis yra ypač stambus. Daktaras Martensas yra legendų dalykas. Viskas prasidėjo netoli Miuncheno (Vokietija) 1945 m., kai daktaras Klausas Maertensas sužalojo koją slidinėdamas Bavarijos Alpėse. Kad gijimo proceso metu būtų lengviau vaikščioti, jis sukūrė batus su oro pagalvėlės padu. Naudodamas senas gumines padangas, jis sukonstravo padus, kurių uždaruose skyriuose buvo įstrigęs oras. Jis parodė savo prototipą savo draugui inžinieriui / išradėjui daktarui Herbertui Funckui ir kartu jie nusprendė sukurti ir pagaminti batus. Batas ne tik išsprendė tiesioginę gydytojo problemą, bet ir pradėjo gerai prekiauti Vokietijoje. Iki 1959 m. jiedu nusprendė, kad jiems reikia įmonės, kuri gamintų ir platintų batus, tuo metu vadintus Dr. Maertens, kitose pasaulio vietose. Iš pradžių daugelis gamintojų atmetė oro pagalvėlės pado koncepciją kaip trumpalaikį triuką. Tačiau R. Griggs Group, įsikūrusi Wollaston kaime Anglijoje, nusprendė įgyvendinti šią idėją ir sukūrė pirmąjį darbinį batą su revoliuciniu padu. 1960 m. balandžio 1 d. buvo pagaminti pirmieji vyšninės raudonos spalvos aštuonių akučių darbiniai batai, pavadinti 1460. Kad prekės ženklas būtų geriau parduotas Anglijoje, pavadinimas angliškai buvo pavadintas daktaru Martensu. Asortimentas buvo pavadintas AirWair, o visa kita yra istorija.

I’m giving it 4 stars because of the sizing. I’m usually a 5.5 (sometimes 6), and I kept seeing comments/posts online to size down. I ordered a 5 and it was a little small. I adjusted the straps to make it a little loose so it’ll give more room to my feet. I guess it did the job. But still, I wish Dr. Martens would start making half-sizes available. The quality and design is great though.

The best Doc sandal

I ordered almost every style Doc Marten sandal available on prime before you buy. These are the best looking and the most comfortable. These don't need to be broken in. The leather straps are soft and don't hurt my arthritic old feet. They look the coolest. And they have the best support imo. The trick to comfort is the 2 strap model as opposed to the women's Blaire sandal with 3 straps. I didn't like the whole 3 strap deal at all. These are the ones.

The straps are adjustable

I haven't found anything I don't like about these sandals. They didn't take long to break in considering the straps are adjustable. I had to put a toe cushion on it because it still rubbed against the side of my foot even with adjustments.

They run on the smaller side

I like the quality. Comfort wise they aren’t as comfortable as the Voss sandals but once they break in they should be good. With docs I always size down but I read reviews and chose my normal size 8 this time and it’s perfect. I’m a 7/8 us womens.

The media could not be loaded. I have bought a myles years ago in Dr Martens store, those from amazon robert wayne seller seems pretty much the same. However, those are made in Laos which has some differences from those made in England. My feet are 23cm which fits perfectly size 6 women/5men. The sandals are cute and matches every outfit, BUT THEY ARE NOT comfortable when compared to birkenstock or jordans sliders. Those myles are pretty heavy and the first days they feel a little bit harsh

Dang!!!!!!!!!

I am 68 and have never owned a pair of doc maretens. My 32 year old daughter had doc martens when she was in high school because it was the rage. I ordered these sandals because they looked rather feminine in their own way. I was very intrigued. Anyway, they arrived last night and I was blown away by how very attractive they were. I just adjusted a few straps, slid in my feet in and they fit perfectly. The foot bed feels like heaven. I am glad I listened to my heart when it said to buy these sandals. They are fabulous.

Comfortable and pretty platform sandals :)

The sandals arrived quickly and as pictured! I’m a size 7.5 women’s and I usually wear a 7 in doc martens sandals. These ended up fitting perfectly, and the adjustable buckles were very helpful since I have wide feet. BTW the sandals for this listing is in women’s sizing (women’s 7 or men’s 6).

Not like they used to make em.

I was disappointed in the quality as they were Doc Martens and expensive. I found the quality of the leather straps very poor compared to an old pair of Doc Martens I owned years ago. I don't know if it was just the style or a sign of the times but definitely below par for what I expected from a pair of Docs.
