easy peezee to install

This light is easy to install because the only part that needs attached to your post or wherever you are installing is a flat pad with pre drilled holes for the screws, so you can easily use a cordless power tool for installation. You have direct contact with the pad and the light is not in the way of your work. After the pad is attached you simply slide the light fixture over the pad. Simple! I installed on my front entrance so the sidewalk and steps would light up for guest. At first the motion detecter was picking up traffic passing by on the road . I did not want to move it becasue the light perfectly lit up the area I wanted it to. I took a piece of dark colored duct tape and placed it on the side of the detecter that faced the road. WELLA it does not pick up the moving traffic on the road but does pick up movement on my sidewalk and steps.

Good for the Price!

I bought 4 of these to put around our home. One of the main reasons I chose these is because a friend of mine has a couple of them on his home and he has been very pleased with them. He's had very good battery life and the lights are plenty bright enough. I've put up 3 of the 4 I purchased, so far and am well pleased. Installation is pretty straight forward and the lights give good coverage. Only thing that could really make them better is some sensitivity adjustment but you can't have everything. These are great lights for what I want and given the cost, they are worth a try. Blessings!

Lifesaver for someone who has no sun to use solar motion detector lights

We have a lot of trees on our property so we were not able to use solar motion lights effectively. No matter how I tried to position solar lights, they got minimal charge and lasted a few hours if that. I worried about getting battery operated lights as I worried I would be buying batteries often; however, that is not the case. The product was packaged well. You get the lights with the mounting fixture and another option to make the lights less bright, depending on what you are looking for with the lighting. I did not attach the additional option to lessen the brightness. The mounting bracket attaches easily. Comes with screws and I found them to be sufficient to do the job. The light fixture slides right into the bracket with ease. You can position these lights in all directions. It made me happy because I was able to configure the lights to cover all areas of my yard well.

Good for some purposes

These are a good light for what I need which was basically to illuminate the dark spots of my yard when the dog goes outside. These turn on when he gets near them so I can keep an eye on him. Installation was easy and they have withstood a couple of snows so they are good for weather. Occasionally one of them will trigger when there’s nothing apparent moving, could be the wind blowing a lead who knows. Happens most often during snow storms. Fairly short duration of light but that works for what I need, and lessens the need to change batteries constantly.

Battery powered motion lights

Great product!! We use them in the area where we take our dog out. Covers slot of area with light. Only con is I would like to be able to manually turn on or make the timer stay on longer. Goes off after no motion in 10-15 seconds. But for a battery motion light it is great!! We have a total of 3 now.

Disappointed

These flood lights only detect motion after frantically waving to get them to turn on . They are unreliable to say the least. Not worth the money.

Perfect for non permanent lighting

Great lights, motion sensing for two dogs is very responsive. Bought some vinyl siding clips and these are easy to install and can be moved if necessary. Have not had long enough to determine battery lifespan length but would look to get more due to their flexibility and brightness.
