Good but not great

It is far too expensive for what it is and the prices has increased 50-odd percent in recent weeks since I purchased mine! As had been said elsewhere about similar rests, it doesn't hold the tools well. All of the spaces are the same size, which is not right for any screwdriver set, and they tend to roll around inside it to some extent. For bigger drivers it works pretty well but, as they get smaller, it doesn't. It also assumes that all drivers are the same length, which of course they aren't. You either need the rests too close together for longer drivers or too far apart for shorter ones. It's too long for a lot of drawers. I cut mine so that I have two runs in the one drawer. One positive is that it is easy enough to cut but be very careful when you do it. You need to cut through the right peaks on each side so that you leave half of the material on each part of each rail as the same peak will form the sides of two spaces on each side, one handle rest and one blade rest. If you cut beside a peak, you will lose a slot. That said, I did manage to cut mine successfully and I am using them for a range of drivers, doubling up some of the smaller ones with some medium-sized ones that fit together in one rest slot. All in all it's overpriced and a poor solution not well executed. I looked long and hard, though, but didn't find a better option. What we need is a tapered rest with varying sized spaces simlar to a spanner rack and, yes, I did consider using those, too but they're not a workable solution. I may make something myself at some stage but, for now, it works well enough and is at least one step better than having the screwdrivers rolling around all over the place.
