Stick with the sizes on the Amazon Size Chart
Adorable once you get the right size. I wish that I could show you the pictures. There is a LOT of Velcro at the tummy and around the neck, so if it runs smaller, the pee placement is good. Too big and the opening is no good. Emme hates the hood and I wish that there is a way to keep it back - may sew on some Velcro to then adhere once her harness is attached to the leash. The harness/collar hole is small.

Does not run small like the reviews say
It's very cute and functional. Easy on and off. However went with a small based on prior reviews. I don't know if they changed dimensions based on the reviews, but would have preferred it to cover his bottom half. Looks perfect when he sits, but short in length when upright.

Dachshund friendly
I bought this raincoat since Southern California’s been having some pretty heavy rain lately and I have to say it did work extremely well, however, a few things to keep in mind before purchasing is that 1. this fits true to size no matter what the reviews say for small dogs. I sized up on this since my dog is so long and it was too big. I ended up doing a few alterations in order to get it to fit him properly and still the stomach strap covers him so he cannot pee properly so I have had to re adjust straps a few times. 2. The hood is not adjustable so unfortunately it is rather large. It does the job of keeping him dry and that was my main goal with the purchase so overall I say do it if you’re considering but just order in your pets typical sizing and it should be great.

Great raincoat!
Loved it! Bought this maybe 4 years ago and it just ripped (my fault), so I came to buy another one. It’s super light and easy to put on. Only cons I can think are that it runs a big small, and that there could be more Velcro on the tummy part. P.S. Don’t worry about my dogs sad face, he clearly hates the raincoat, but he’s so dramatic.

Room for legs to move
My 28 pound rescue dog likes a walk every day, and this raincoat works well for her. FIT She has prick ears, so she does not use the hood other than a neck cover. But the roominess in the front section means that she can take long strides or even run in the coat, and she loves to run. (Her previous coat was too tight in the front.) She is wearing a size large which fits okay. She's about the size of a cocker spaniel. To get a perfect fit, the coat would be a little bit longer toward her tail and a little bit tighter around her body. When it's cold, she wears a fleece coat underneath. FEATURES There is a gap at the top (shoulder blades) so she can wear her harness underneath the raincoat and then be leashed through the gap. Her harness stays dry. This system works great for us. I would buy this again.

First one was way too small using the sizing chart and the next size up too.
I have a Sheltie. Using the sizing chart I ordered the medium. The medium size stopped BEFORE her hind legs. There's no option to simply exchange for a different size so I had to order a size larger and drive into town (33 mi away) to send the first one back because was no local option for returns. So I ordered a size large which should have been too big. Nope, it's still too small. I can't adjust around the neck because that's where the velcro is to hold the jacket on. Instead of repeating the 33 mile drive again to return it to order yet XL, this time I'm just going to sew on another 4" myself so it covers her bum. It's a nice rain coat but their sizing chart is WAY off. My dog is not impressed - she acting like she couldn't possibly walk with it on (she'll get over it) and the cat is wondering who the stranger in yellow is (they grew up together).

Very cute idea but seems to run a bit small.
Just got this, the options for sizes available were medium and large when I ordered it. I went with the large. My dog is a beagle mix, she is about 16" tall at the shoulders and weighs about 35 pounds. This is too small for her. If I try to pull the hood up her butt is exposed. Even pulled up the hood seems like it should be a little wider. That said, I think it's cute and it will keep her mostly dry, even though I'll probably have most of her head exposed. It's the body part she shakes when we get home that sprays the water all over the place! Anyway, for those interested in exact sizes here's the size chart: Measure your dog from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. XX Small - 6"-8" X Small - 8"-10" Small - 10"-14" Medium - 14"-19" Large - 19"-24" X Large - 24"-29" XX Large - 29"-34" My dog is 21" from the base of the neck to the base of the tail and I got her the large so it should have fit but, like I said, if I want the hood on her I have to pull it up and it uncovers most of her bum. I think the hood up will still keep some of her head dry though. Will try and upload a couple of pictures of Jessie in her raincoat.

Disappointing!
Item measurements are incorrect re sizing chart be aware! Having measured my Shih Tzu neck to base of tail ordered the small.Dispatched from US took 10 days to arrive! Item 4" to short! Returning item would have incurred a fee greater than the product value! Not @ all happy! Beware sizing!

Not sized correctly
Got the small to medium size for my dog and it was too small to fit her. Wouldve got the size up, but it said that it was for bigger dogs
