Fits outdoor lamp post I bought at Lowes
After seeing flickering flame like, outdoor lights for entry doors etc. on TT, I came here on the lightbulb hunt *Note worthy, We bought a 3 sconce, 2 lights per sconce, black lamppost from Lowes over 10 years ago. .--We are sooooooooo tired of the LED blinding lights as our replacement options. Just over it lol. I must admit, I was very worried the bottom of the lightbulb that you screw into the base, would either be to big OR to small. That is why I only bought 1 bulb to give it a try. BINGO it fits perfectly and it reminds me of gas lit lanterns of years ago. I am thrilled. The glow is very warm and flame like. NOT BLINDING. Went back to order 2 more. Sure is a lot to say about a light bulb--but hey, I am so excited about it. Give it a try.

Not orange, like Halloween!
We have three of these in a beautiful fixture above our doorway, and I wanted something that look like gas fire in this does! It’s not orange like everyone else has so it doesn’t look like Halloween lights! Very happy with the purchase, even though they did cost a lot more than the others. It’s worth it!

Rocket Flame
Needed a very particular shape and base type flame effect bulb for a lamp/sculpture and this is one of the few which met all the requirements. Overall it's great: Dark housing (most are white) which blends-in, BRIGHT LEDs, reasonably convincing effect. Downsides in my opinion are the clear cover (most are translucent) meaning you see the "guts" of the thing and then also that being relatively small, the number of LEDS is therefore limited meaning the flame effect itself isn't quite as smooth, etc. as seen in larger bulbs.

Quality control issues
I ordered one light for testing. I put it in a lantern with lightly-obscured blue chip glass. It looked perfect--very realistic, especially the color, which I compared side-by-side to a real candle. I ordered two more. But the color of the next two lights was not like the first. They were too yellow to look like a real candle flame. Didn't look nearly as good. I did a side-by-side of the first light compared to the other two I ordered. Big difference. If they were all the same color as the first light I ordered, I'd buy more. I'm keeping the first light and returning the other two.

Very authentic looking
The media could not be loaded. I would lOVE real gas lanterns but it’s not in the cards. I bought these based on other reviews that they were not as orange as others and how “real” they looked. I have to say I agree and if they last a good while, then they are worth the price. They are “warm” and lean orange at night but at sunset, they are beautiful. Not very bright though if you need the light, but for ambience-they really are a nice effect. I ordered 2 more so both my lanterns have 2 in each. I will probably swap back and forth between regular bulbs and these because I’m not a huge fan of the warmer whites. I hope being LED they last a while.

Very realistic
I was very skeptical about this light looking like a flame. In the pictures it does look a bit digital. However in person it looks way better and across the room it adds a great ambiance light. It’s not very bright but I bought it to just throw some light into a corner of my living room. Love it

Worth it
The media could not be loaded. I really like these and ordered more. The black-based ones looked best in my light They are expensive, but bring me enough enjoyment to make it worth it. I hope they are long lasting, but time will tell. Not a bright light, but works for my needs.
