interesting waders

Interesting waders. Like Frogg toggs in general for waders, we have 2 pairs of there breathable insulated hunting waders, they have been good so far' Reason for buying the brush hogs was to replace uninsulated breathable waterfowl waders. Anything currently available on the market has either mixed reviews or is insanely expensive. Thought I would give these a try. Pros: boots are very nice. comfortable, grippy and warmer than expected the outer material seems very durable fit is good. Has plenty of adjustment in the top of the wader for people of different shapes and build Cons: PU lined. I knew these were not breathables and I haven't worn non breathables in decades. Needless to say they DO NOT breath. no wading belt loops, attachments or belt. Be nice for safety. They have pant pockets!!!! so weird and all they do is fill up w water. Strange design feature. These have been hunted in the salt marshes of the Atlantic ocean, so conditions are rough. Overall they are what they say they are tough waterproof hunting wader. The weird pockets, no wading belt attachment points are annoying but not that much of a problem. The PU coating does its job. Trying not to sweat at all, if you do you be damp. Not a cold water wet, but a warm dampness. Are they are what they say they are... yes Are they decent quality .... yes would I buy them again.... no The PU coating limits what you can do in them. If you have any amount of activity or movement in them, you will sweat and you will cook in them. I am not going to return them but I wont be using them as a main wader and only within certain types of activity levels. Wish Frogg Toggs made these in a breathable version without pockets and belt loops.
