Best non stick pan ever had. Sturdy can go in oven. Might use for steak instead of cast iron!❤️????

Great nonstick very quiet on induction cooktop

I have used induction cooking for more than 5 years and noticed that one reviewer stated that this pan needed higher settings than other pans when using induction. I tested this pan using an infrared temperature gun and compared it to my previous pans. Started at ~75F and timed 30 seconds on medium heat (induction). The new GreenPan heated to 135F and my old (thinner) GreenPan got to 165F. I am guessing that the new thicker 5mm pan needed more time to get to temperature due to being double the thickness. I also tested a mini cast iron fry pan and it also came up to 135F in the same 30 seconds. The most notable difference between this pan and all the others I have used on induction is that it is silent. Every other induction pan I have used has a buzzing sound, which is something I have gotten use to over the years. I have also found that a little real butter works best to enhance the non stick experience. For some nonstick pans using a spray on oil will ruin the non stick properties - not sure about this current pan but do not plan on pushing my luck. My older GreenPan (probably about 4 years old) has lost its non stick properties and I believe it was due to using spray on cooking oils, as the surface is not visibly damaged.

Not the best for induction cooktop.

It has really great non stick qualities. Nice weight. Fried an egg and it slid around the pan with absolutely no sticking. BUT, I only cook on induction. This works, but is very slow and required a power setting 2 levels higher than my other non stick pan (or any other pan) needs. It's not enough of a problem to send it back, but just know that if you cook with induction, it might not suite your needs

Would give this a 5 star because these are fantastic pans and cook amazingly. But these chip fairly easily. Which for the price shouldn't be happening after 1 month that we've had it for. Other than chipping on the edges, the pan cooks amazing, and the non stick portion is probably the best I've seen. My wife and I have stainless steel, black steal, cast iron and these. We try to cook with non toxic cookware as much as possible. We love these for the non-stick, but disappointed that it does chip fairly easily.

Chipped paint

The edges of the pan chipped after a week of use, despite me following all of the care instructions. Other than that: great, even cooking, easy to clean pans.

Desprende sabor metálico

Tuve que devolverla porque soltaba un sabor muy extraño, mi comida tenía un sabor metálico super extraño y feo, me dio miedo seguirla utilizando, esto pasó desde el día 1 de utilizarla. El huevo se pega y es con el alimento que más sabe el sabor extraño que desprende. Los demás alimentos que cociné no se pegaban sin embargo de verdad NO recomiendo.
