Worth it

This is the best thing I bought all year. My family eats alot of rice and this has made making rice so easy and simple. I never have to worry if I over cooked it, or about making a mess. I use it at least once a week and I'm loving it.

Rice Cooks Perfectly Every Time!!

I didn't know making rice could be so easy! It really comes out perfect every time! I love that it has measurement markings so you know how much rice and water to add. It's also super easy to clean because the insert comes out and can be placed in the dishwasher. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that's looking for an easy way to make perfect rice!

Messy, doesn’t cook steel cut oats well

When we cook steel cut oats, using the measurements as instructed the photo shows the result. The liquid overflows and gets into the heating element area. Instructions say to clean bowl, but you really have to disassemble the thing taking the metal plate out as seen in the photo and a vent thing on the top. I turn it upside down to get out excess liauid from the overflow. The oats cook dry and not thoroughly. We’ve been eating steel cut oatmeal for years, and this doesn’t cook it well at all. And it’s a major clean up hassle. Customer service advised me to return to Amazon, but the window is closed, and the company won’t honor the 3 year warranty—they’ll only replace with a unit that works exactly the same way.

Sent back due to poor lid design

Poorly designed lid makes the rice cooker inoperable. The lid opens after 5 min and stops the cooking.

Misleading info

This is supposedly an 8-cup capacity rice cooker. See the photos above. First photo shows the actual depth of the rice pot when photographed from the side. 2nd photo shows the actual diameter of the pot's mouth. Do you think this can contain 8 cups of rice, plus the corresponding water? Also, the rice when cooked gets fluffy. This is more like a 2-3 cups capacity! If I can give 0 star, I will. Returning this now. But I've lost another 3 days of business.

Button to open broke,The power cord keeps disconnecting

The media could not be loaded. The cord doesn’t appear to have secure click or something that says you have a good connection. Besides turning off if you accidentally bump the cooker, the button to open the unit just collapsed, product didn’t last 4 months.
