Just flip a switch
This blower works. I guess I just wanted more power. I wanted electric because I got tired pulling those gas blowers for ever to start up. All I do is flip a switch and it's on.

Waaaaay too BIG!
Greenworks is good brand. Have a blower already from them and was in the market for a leaf vacuum. The suction(vacuum) nozzle is way too big. It's for people with tons of leaf but I need a small-medium one. Don't have lots of leafs(small plastic bag the most). Need smaller girth vacuum nozzle for customer who does not have lots of leafs around the house. Blower nozzle would be perfect but it only attaches to the blower side not the vacuum side.

Good for the price
Lightweight. Will not pick up wet leave.

needs a cord-not cordless or battery powered-cord is a pain
needs a long cord to work right

easy to assemble and change between blower and vacuum
This leaf vacuum works just as well as more recognized name brands that use a metal impeller and is much easier to maneuver

precious little suction, not easy to operate, heavy on the arms
It was to be used as a leaf extractor. Straight out the box assembly was not self-evident and following the tiny print of brief not easy to follow instructions for the part named "mulcher attachment" left me wondering if the person who wrote the booklet forgot what the consumer needs to assemble properly. The plastic is cheap, heavy and awkward to operate with the leaf bag is draped over your shoulder. It fills up with air when the unit is turned on and makes it difficult to aim the long suction tunnel since the leaf bag keeps back side bumping into it. Pick-up of leaves is basically non-existent. I had to position the nose of the cylinder touching directly on top of some lightweight dry leaves and even then it required direct pressure and more than several swipes to get it to pick up just a few. The weight of the unit is tiring on the arm to hold while positioning constantly ground level to try to get it to successfully suck up dry leaves. 40 minutes later, not even a 1/4 bag full due could be gathered for full size back yard. I gave up.

EZ to handle
My 25+ Year old Sears leaf blower/vacuum impeller literally disintegrated on the job. Unable to locate a NOS replacement I went on the hunt for a replacement. I looked for a unit that appeared to operate and handle the same as my former long time favorite. For me and my small property, I prefer corded garden tools. I have no use for battery operated devices. My search was short because my 'wants' were long. I was already impressed with a 1700 Power Washer that I had purchased last month from GreenWorks, so I ordered the leaf blower vacuum from them. I have flowering trees that are very messy during the season. I took the GreenWorks blower right from the box to the job yesterday. It did perform as I had hoped. I didn't even have to use high-speed to get the job done. After racking up the enormous pile of blossoms, I came back with vacuum attachment to finish the job. I was immediately showered in dust sized particles from the collection bag. I thought that I had left the zipper open! Closer inspection showed that the bag has courser weaved material at the top edge. Obviously to filter and give air the ability to leave the bag quicker. It did a great job of vacuuming my driveway but at the cost of being smothered in the escaping dust. Fortunately I still have the bag collection bag from the old Sears leaf vacuum. I strapped it on and finished the job dust free. I would still recommend this blower/vacuum from GreenWorks. It is powerful and very easy to handle. In saying that, I would also state that if you will be vacuuming areas that have loose dry soil or ground leaves be prepared for a dusting.

Mulching was better than expected
It’s easy and quick to set up. I was surprised with the suction and mulching ability. I had a toro some years back and leaf stems would clog the blades. I used the greenworks for around 3 hours with wet leaves and it did the job.

Power tool with power cord
We are unable to review or resolve. As this power tool was delivered without its power connection. Green works not assisting. Q? Seller refund ok but why would any electric tool be sold without the electric cord. No where on Amazon can you even buy the cord. The box is simple but no list of products and no connection. It isn’t cordless in need of batteries which you also have to buy separately. This product / products look nice. But in reality we wish we hadn’t bought a greenworks tool.

OK for small jobs
Blowing power is fine to clean patio and walkways. Not strong enough on wet grass. THIS IS not a vacuum as it is a mulcher ..meaning that you can vacuum leaves and it will shred them.. Do not vacuum other solid stuff as it may break the plastic mulcher. The suction is not great and your leaves will have to be dried to do a proper job. 2 speed blowing.. OK but will not blow wet leaves from grass.. Found the use of the mulcher impractical. Not easy to manipulate and could not be used by a small woman..you need some strength. Sufficient for my needs for the price.

Professional work
We bought this for our new home which has lots of trees around it. Can’t say how much we have been impressed by the job this vacuum and blower has got done for us. It seems like it has been done by professionals. Super suction and blowing power. You can adjust according to your needs. It’s little heavy to carry around but highly recommend this product.

Great but needs improvments
It works fantastic, only two issues and they relate to the bag, a more oval shape would be ideal for dumping in yard bag, have to scoop some out before it can fit inside so you can open zipper fully and shake it out. Also backpack style bag would have been more ideal as this one seems to get in the way and sits too low, the adjustable strap keeps loosening as you use it.

Update: used this less than 5 times. Broken. Bag also ripped very easily.
Update November 9: it’s broken, the bag piece is ripped, after only 5 gentle uses. Tried to get a refund/replacement and it didn’t arrive at my house. Having problems contacting the seller. For $79 before tax, you can't do any better. I have a small backyard, lots of leaves and debris. This easily and quietly blows the leaves into a pile, and then I vacuum it up with the vacuum attachment. It shreds the leaves and captures it in the hanging bag. Then I just dump it all into the garden waste bag. No bending and raking and effort. Note that this doesn't come with an outdoor extension cord, so I had to go out and buy it separately today. It was a bit tricky for me to figure out how to attach the vacuum and leaf bag collector part to the unit at first. But I figured it out, and I'm really happy with this purchase. It's quieter than most blowers, it has a low and high speed option, and it's inexpensive. I highly recommend, if you want a blower AND vacuum/mulcher attachment for only $79, that works well, and for a smaller backyard. You can't get much with $79 these days, that's for sure! It arrived quickly, and in perfect condition.
