Great band, but know this!

I absolutely love this watch band. I have had watches with similar bands in the past, and just couldn't stand the leather strap on my newest watch. So I ordered this to replace the leather one. There were only two downsides to this band: 1. No directions. The band was too large, and I had to take a link out. There were no directions for taking a link out, so I had to search online. It's amazing how many different ways there are for taking apart watch bands. It took a lot of searching to find this style. 2. No Pins!!!! The band did not come with pins to attach it to the watch. Luckily, the pins in the leather band I was replacing were removable and fit the new band perfectly. But if I didn't have pins to use, I would have been really mad I'm sure. (Hence the four star review instead of five stars).

Unbelievable trash. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK.

This is absolute trash. Like probably the worst thing I've ever purchased on Amazon. I even first had Amazon replace it, and the replacement was just as bad as the original. Where to start: NOT adjustable - no removable links. It has arrows for them, but no pins. There is literally no way to adjust this thing to size other than the micro-adjustments.. which are very inadequate. NOT finished - The sides are not even a little finished. You can see folded metal. Some links have giant gaps. Others have no gaps. CHEAP titanium - if it is even titanium. This seems like scrap metal. It feels cheap. Like very cheap. Looks NOTHING like the photos. Comes in crappy plastic hard packaging, which came broken BOTH times. I have no idea what anyone was thinking when creating this abomination. I am returning both of them to Amazon and will never buy this crap again. Spare yourself the hassle. This is absolute junk. No other way to put it. Honestly, I think I'm being nice in this review, if I could give it ZERO stars, I would. If I could give it negative stars, I would. SO disappointed. Good riddance.

Much Better Than Expected!

I purchased the Hadley-Roma 22mm Titanium Watch Band for my Seiko 5 hoping the finish would match the somewhat unusual shot peened frosted finish of the watch. To my delight it was an almost perfect match. The next step was adjusting the length of the band, which I had bought a tool specifically for this job. When I looked closely at the band I quickly determined it wasn’t the typical type of band that has a pin to drive in or out. I believe it’s called a rolled link band (can’t remember the exact name) but there are videos online which will show you how to size it. It worked perfectly and the band is the perfect length now. Something I wasn’t expecting from this band was how light it’d be. My previous watch’s metal band (Citizen Eco-Drive) was very heavy and this one felt lightweight which I like. My only gripe, and it’s a personal one, is it snags on my arm hair a lot, but that’s not going to be a problem for everyone.

Great Product

The titanium finish means it is incredibly rust resistant so in terms of durability it is definitely above stainless steel. Also titanium is lighter than steel so having a mix means this product is comfortable on the weight front but still sturdy. Also I prefer a metal band because it won't have any fraying or tearing or shrinkage issues material bands can develop. The design is nice and it is pretty simple to shorten. I haven't had any issues with pinching either I sometimes get in other fold to lock bands. The color is also nice as it is a slight grey which means it matches a steel watch well and won't draw any attention from the watch face. Also being grey it won't catch the light or be distracting. Very fond of this product and it had a reasonable pricetag.

The product seems like reasonable value for money

The product seems like reasonable value for money. However I had to return it as the spring loaded section was missing from one end, rendering it useless. I am now waiting for a replacement. I received a replacement in a matter of days, together with a refund of return postage. I am now quite happy with my purchase, and would now rate 4 stars.

Not bad for the Price. But quality could be better

It's titanium, but very dull color. Perhaps that's the right color. Very easy to remove links, and change size, etc... Also, fits very easily from 18 to 22mm size watches, with spring loaded end.
