Sturdy and Tasteful

This set is stainless steel, with a light tempering so it flexes instead of bending allowing them to return to their original shape. The handles are thick giving them some heft, the decorations are noticeable but not pronounced. The combination of the flare at the end of the cutlery and the decorations allows a secure grip even with sweaty hands. Their quality and durability can handle meals in adult and young adult hands. I gave no promises that they can stand up to the uses children can put them to. As for each piece. The knife, knifes well. Can cut bread and butter, spreads well, the serrated edge is a bit more pronounced allowing it a bit easier cutting through meat or raw potatoes. The fork, forks well. Gets nice and stabby right into eatables. Also works nicely with noodles and spaghetti. The spoons, spoon. They scoop, they stir, you can even eat ice cream with them! Edit: When I reviewed them their price was not $60. Removing 1 star for price.

Nice But Not A $60 Set

This is a nice flatware set that is part of Hampton Forge’s premier line. While the set is nice, there is no way this single set of flatware for ONE person is worth $60. I really like the design on the handles, as that does give the set a more elegant look. All pieces perform as they should, and they are a great size for adults. I would not recommend having children use this flatware, as the utensils are a bit large for small hands. Also, this set is hand-wash only.

Sturdy but lightweight

These have been a great set of cutlery. They are very shiny. They are chunky in the handle area. But they are hollow so the cutlery is able to remain lightweight.

They feel light, and seem to be quality

This product is a single place setting of silverware, stainless steel is nice and rust proof. Being this lightweight is off putting, I'm used to silverware with heft. The price is a little expensive for a single place setting.

Wonderful set!

I got this and another set to compare. The quality of this set is amazing! The weight of the utensils is great. It feels like high quality craftsmanship. Will do well in the dishwasher or during hand washing. I love the design and pattern on the bottom. This set is only for one person, you would have to order separate place settings for each person. Overall, highly recommend this silverware set.

Excellent quality

This 5 piece set will transform your dinner table. The quality is excellent for the price. They are a bit heavy but not uncomfortable. The designs on the handle are lovely. I washed them twice so far with dawn and hand dried them and they still sparkle and no tarnish. Also the package it came in is nice with a very cute design. I would recommend this to any looking to add to their dinner ware set.

Beautiful set!

We have a hodgepodge of silverware in our house and this set fits in perfectly! I thought this 5 piece set was beautiful and the perfect weight- not too heavy, not too light. So far it has held up in the dishwasher with no issues. The etching on the bottom is lovely and detailed. The larger of the spoons can be more of a server spoon.
