It's fine for what it is
I did not have an actual oriole feeder but I do get orioles and wanted one. This one is not exactly what I wanted but it's what I could find that was somewhat close. I mostly feed them jelly and halved oranges (clementines) so this work fine. The compartment is plenty big enough for jelly and not horrible to clean. The compartments will also hold half a clementine. I have put nectar in those compartments but the orioles don't really seem to be interested in the nectar as much, and I mostly use another small feeder for the oranges - so this is primarily for jelly. Filling the nectar compartments (and general cleaning) is a bit of a chore because you have to screw out the hanger to access it - but it's not necessarily more work than a hummingbird feeder. I would buy it again but probably won't because I don't anticipate needing another and will look for something that's more of a straight jelly feeder when the time comes to replace this.

Oriole Magnet
This will be the second Orioles feeder we have of this design. The Orioles prefer it to the other 2 jelly feeders we have out for them. We do not use the nectar sections Nd just use the melody sections.

Good option for jelly feeding
This is a sturdy, easy to fill option for feeding jelly to the orioles, finches and other birds who like fruit. There are also portals for feeding nectar. I don't recommend using them. The holes are so large that bees can crawl in and get trapped. Thus I only use it for jelly. The only negative is the fact that the hook to hold it up is also the item that keeps the whole feeder together. You must unscrew it each time to pull the base from the top for cleaning. It's a bit of a chore to unscrew and rescrew it in each time.

Love this feeder, however…
I have searched and searched for a feeder that accommodates JUST JELLY, and with a perch. This accommodates jelly AND nectar, but the holes are so big it would be easy for bees to get in. I duct taped the holes allowing for just jelly, and added an ant moat. There are also 2 nickel sized holes at the bottom. I assume they are designed necessary to making the mold of the feeder. I blocked those also. I just wish this feeder was much bigger, divided in half with a perch but no lid. That would make it SOOO much more convenient!! Please let me know if you ever design one like that. I would buy it for sure!!!

One possible problem
Since humming birds and orioles don't eat their foods in equal amounts, nectar may be lost while replacing jelly, and vice versa.

Great feeder for hummingbirds
Sadly I have not had any oriole visitors but the hummingbirds love the sugar water I put in the wells.

Not as Good as Description Sounded
Ok, so I never had Orioles hanging out with my hummingbirds until a few weeks ago, so I am new as to what they like, besides my hummingbird feeders. I got this because it was described as an all in one Oriole food station, sounds good to me, what do I know, right? Everything right there at their finger tips, well their beak tips. (1) The top is yellow, didn't know yellow is the bees favorite color, until the bees started swarming the darn thing. (2) Can't put grape jelly the compartments because the bees are so attracted to it. Jelly makes it even worse, I think I ended up with the bees from the next state over also. (3) Can't use it for nectar because the bees easily crawl through the nectar port holes and I ended up with a compartment full of dead bees. (4) So all I can use is a compartment that I can put mealworms in and another to put a 1/4 piece of orange in. It sounded a lot better for the Orioles than it actually ended up being. I will buy one of the less expensive feeders that didn't boast being an everything feeding station.

Satisfied with the product
Good product. Easy to clean and definitely a good value for the money. Could be a little sturdier but all in all, I would buy again. I had it out one day and it did what it was designed to do.

Orioles love this thing!
We've had so many orioles coming we had to buy a second one. We don't bother putting sugar water in the hidden compartments bc the birds usually have the feeder swinging around so much it spills everywhere. Our hummingbirds occassionally feed on the grape jelly as well. You def need a toothbrush or similar to get in the corners of the compartments to give it a good cleaning but otherwise its a lot less complicated than other feeders.

Excellent feeder!
This feedee is great for attracting Orioles! I love the divided parts- easy to fill and clean. The only downside is the 2 holes in the bottom, which I think are there to assist in pushing the top off, bees are able to get in the holes and eat/drink the nectar you put in. We have covered the holes with tape which seems to solve the problem. The bees are still attracted to anything sweet you put in the top though.

This is very nice! With areas for grape jelly and also sugar ...
This is very nice! With areas for grape jelly and also sugar water underneath! Have not seen any Orioles as yet but, I haven't sat and watched either! All the info about attracting them says that feeders should be out and filled very early, before the birds have even arrived back from the south! I'm a reasonably patient person so if not this year, I'll just make sure it's filled and out early next year! Well, it looks like I won't have to wait that long ! As I was sitting outside tonight I saw a red breast and at first mistook it for a robin but after getting a better look, lo and behold it was a beautiful Oriole! I'm very pleased!

Tiny, , poor quality, leaks none stop, ant moat is no bigger than a nickel
Poor quality and very tiny. Leaks even before you can hang it as it does not close properly. Does not disassemble as description states it does so very difficult to clean. Save your money by another. We have many orioles so I thought I would buy another kind of feeder but they won’t go to this one as it is too small for this size bird. Very disappointing purchase. Not like picture and totally over priced.

good secondary feeder
I bought this in a pinch while I looked for mine...I gave it a 4 because it has great jelly areas, but the nectar really is small. If you want this as your only feeder, I don't think it's adequate, as secondary, it suffices. Very easy to clean and fill
