Just received the Rogue Wave boots, and just wearing them around the house for now... Out of the box, the first thing I noticed was that they seem like a very high quality well-made boot, and the grip on the bottom of the sole seems outstanding... I bought these for sailing, during the colder months, and I'm now actually looking forward to trying these on a wet and heeled-over deck... :-) Regardless, I'm writing about sizing now, and as I use them I will update this review.. I usually wear a Men's 12W for most shoes, wearing lightweight socks.. But I bought these boots for sailing during the colder months, and planned to wear heavier socks with them, and perhaps even two pair.. After reading a number of reviews, and with that in mind, I up-sized to the 13's.. And happy to report, wearing a thin base-layer sock, along with a heavier sock, the 13 was the right choice.. With both pairs of socks, the width fit is slightly snug, but not tight, with extra room in the toe.. I think after a break-in period, the fit should be perfect... Exactly what I wanted.... Will wear them around the house for a few more days for now.. Update: Rained a lot here the past several days, and have been wearing them outside every day.. Absolutely love them, and they are exactly what I'd hoped.. I have been wearing a regular sock with them, and added one somewhat thin-ish insole into the boot.. Fit is perfect, and that adds additional padding as well.. I could wear these all day.. The one drawback is this.. Wearing them outside, the sole picks up some dirt and tiny things get stuck in the tread.. And if I wanted these ~only~ for wet weather outdoors, I wouldn't care. They're perfect! BUT, I also wanted these to wear while foul-weather sailing, and cleaning the bottoms of the boots is a pain.. Lots of tiny things get stuck in the tread, and it's a chore to get them out... And you just don't want dirt on or scratching a boat deck.. So, I may need a second pair... That's not terrible, but....not what I was planning on... :-/
