Great quality

This dress was a step above Halloween costume quality. I wore it to a renaissance faire and felt great in it. No zippers, it just pulls over your head. You may need help getting it off. I also recommend wearing something underneath since it is thin. The material is mainly a thin sort of blue velvet with some meshy bits for the yellow part. I absolutely recommend!

Embellishments Help

This is the closest I could come to a Juliet dress for a Romeo and Juliet Ball dance I am attending this month, without spending an arm and a leg. Be aware that the care label says do not wash, do not dry clean, “spot clean.” It was a bit too long, and when I went to pin up the hem, I saw that it wasn’t even hemmed - the fabric had a raw edge for the hem. So you know it is not the highest quality construction! I am altering it to look more like a Renaissance period dress: adding embroidered braid to the bodice, to which I also added a muslin liner. For a costume worn maybe once a year, it should be fine.

Looks great

It was difficult to get on and off. There is not a zipper nor does it have any elastic in the empire waist so each time I put it on or took it off, I could hear threads and seams popping. Poor design on the manufacturers part but otherwise, it was great. Everyone knew I was Juliet.

As expected

The costume fit as expected. My daughter is about 5'1 and we didn't have to fix the hem. She looked beautiful.

Too small!!

This costume does not have an elastic waist or a zipper. Anyone with shoulders or hips will not be able to put the costume on without ripping a seam.
