Great for my wide feet

I used to wear Thorogood emperor toes but can’t find them anymore. These are the most accommodating I’ve found. I didn’t even have to get extra wide like I normally do with other brands. I also have arch and Achilles pain in boots with a lot of flex in the sole, but not in these. The only con I’ve noticed in my first couple of weeks is that my feet sweat more in these boots. I think it’s because of the waterproofing. I have to remember to put absorbent pouches in them at night or in the morning they’re still soggy and I have to wear them gross at work. But as long as I dry them out they’re fine.

Very comfortable, light weight and well made. Downside is that they are hot! Your feet will sweat.

These boots are light weight, comfortable and very well made. The only downside is that they are very hot and do not breathe well.

hard to keep clean

and ugly too. I think what offended me most about these is the color. The style is favorable and I won't put anything that cost less than $100 on my feet these were comfortable right out-of-the-box I forgot I had them on eventually I started to like this style except for one problem since they're not black they get dirty very easy and very fast and it's hard to clean it off the good thing is that this type of leather takes And this takes to stand very well so it seemed a little darker and now I can accept the style and the color. I don't know how waterproof they are because I don't really want to get them wet. Wearing these with jeans doesn't look like you're wearing boots at all for some reason I would have preferred a 8 inch boot instead of 6 inch but I cannot say enough about the support and comfort I can also not say enough about the price. These are not $200. I tried many pairs of boots that were $200-$300 and they we're not 100% leather or they were bonded instead of sewing into the soul of the boot so I'm kind of having a hard time believing this $200 boot is everything it says it is. Pro: COMFORTABLE Cons: GETS irreversibly filthy Comfortable right out-of-the-box

What a nice pair

Like someone else said, these are high quality boots. They fit well and more importantly, are made well. Probably one of the best boots that I have ever owned. I wish that I would have gotten them during the winter so that I could get more use out of them, however, I have worn them a few times for hiking and light work. I find that they are very comfortable and easy to slip on and off. They are a little heavy but I like that about them as the soles seem like they will last forever. As you can see in the picture, the Keen boots are beautiful and the stitching is fantastic. I do like the dark sole also and will probably order them next time; however, I may not get the chance as these may last forever. Definitely 5 stars.

Tough & Comfortable Work Boot!

I wanted these for outside work, as we live on a farm. I wanted something I could clean easily, was waterproof, and was durable. I have worn these for a couple weeks so far and they have lived up to the KEEN reputation!!!! They are waterproof and, when muddy, they are easy to wash off. I was happy about the composite toe because I dropped a big piece of metal (a thick I-beam for a welding project) on my right toe. The composite toe held up fine and saved my foot from some pain!!!!! These have held up, they are easy to clean, and they are comfortable. These seem fit to wear the KEEN name - grab a pair if you need work boots!!!

A Half Size Bigger

Wow, this is one hefty, high quality boot! I mean, just holding it you can feel the weight of good materials in your hands! It looks gorgeous too and I almost don't want to wear it for any kind of work because i don't want to ruin it, haha. Of course it's from a reputable brand so there's no question about all of this. Overall it's definitely got a solid toe that will protect you from any drops, pinches, or accidentally walking into something which is generally my case. The boot's upper sole is thick, but soft and comfy. It feels breathable and while i haven't stepped in a full puddle yet, I'm confident it's waterproof. The sole is solid and thick so it won't wear out any time soon and has a great tread pattern for muddy conditions. The color is decent but i would have preferred the darker version if it was available. I just know it won't be long until i get these dirty so darker is always better in my case. As for the fit, they seemed about a half size too big for me. This is probably my fault though. I'm usually a 9, but lately i've found that 9's differ across brands and don't always fit me right. On a few i've had to get either an 8.5 or even an 8 so maybe my feet are just shrinking. I'd look at other reviews regarding the fit since i don't trust my own foot size at the moment. I do have narrow feet and felt the width was just fine on me so hopefully that's helpful. The only other thing i noticed is that they did take a few days to wear in. Originally i felt a bit of a pinch on one side but that was when they were right out of the box and also like i said above, probably not the proper size. But it went away after a few wears. You can also see the brown material on top gets some markings in it when you start wearing it and it creases but again, these are work boots so they're meant to get worn.

Attractive, comfortable, true-to-size, very solid

I don't normally need to wear work boots, but I suspect that these are about as comfortable as they get... almost but not quite as comfortable as a pair of high-top sneakers or day hikers. Great insole really fits my foot, a little snug across toe box and a little stiff, but excellent toe protection while still being fairly light weight. They are waterproof and quite slip resistant both in a lab (oily environments) and in the snow/ice outside. I think they are attractive. The lighter color surround does scuff/mark up a little easily, and my kids say the color sk remind them of pretzel buns in appearance which I can now not unsee. They do get a bit warm indoors after a long day, but most waterproof shoes do.

Simple yet heavy duty

These boots have a good weight to them and you'll feel rather protected. The size fits based on what you normally wear but having thicker socks does not compromise the fit either. You can tell the front is quite sturdy and will withstand tools dropping on your feet. Not sure how much water is can withstand but anything less than a foot of puddle of water should still keep your feet dry.
