Excellent quality

Very pleased with this purchase. Arrived a day earlier than expected, packaged well, no damage. Heavy and good quality. This is the aged bronze metal (mostly flat black, small copper line around ceiling plate) with the clear globe. There is also a copper wire. To center the fixture above the table we screwed a hook into a stud in the ceiling — a hook screwed only into drywall won’t hold the fixture, too heavy. That is NOT what caused these ceiling cracks, those were there, house was built in 1963. For reference the table top is 56 1/2” x 34 inches, 29 7/8” high. The bottom of the globe is 30” from the bottom of the table. It’s an 8’ ceiling.

Nice pendant. Very Pleased. semi-hard installation.

I ordered the clear glass one. No paper instructions on installation. Was a little difficult to install, and I needed another person to help with holding the glass pendant. I read some of the other reviews about the glass and chain......to me , the pendant glass is sturdy and just the right amount of thickness. I think the pendant light is built overall really well, the chain is thick, the glass is nice, the pendant is just the right size (not too big or too small), the craftsmanship is good, all of the installation hardware was available. The only negative was that the installation instructions were not with the product. I have installed and uninstalled many different lights, and so has my husband....this one was a challenge. We had to run the pendant wire through the center mount screw so that we could screw on the face plate and the knob that hangs the chain. It was a little tough to do. Make sure you do all of the wire length and chain length prep before hand, and hook on the chain last.

Beautiful Glass Pendants

I waited to write this review just to see how well they would hold up and So far I am very happy with my purchase. I had bought 2 different pendants that I sent back prior to choosing this style. They look really nice and visually, they don’t take up much space. Yes, I will have to clean the glass often but it’s worth it to not have an obstruction over my island. They are large so you’ll need to take that into account. I did 3 of them as I have a large island measuring just a tad over 9 ft.

It really depends on your space

I saw pictures of pendants like this hanging over kitchen islands all over the web and loved the look. When I saw these on Amazon, I knew I just had to buy them. I envisioned a rustic modern look, clear glass jug pendant. The bigger the better or so I thought. I didn't want just a puny little pendant light. I wanted something that made a statement. These were absurdly large. Like humongous take over the room big. Definitely a statement and not a subtle one at all. If you have an enormous house with very high ceilings, this could definitely work but in our 1288 square foot house with 8ft ceilings, it would have been ridiculous even though the room they would be going into is quite large. I was hoping the fact that they were clear glass would make them subtle even if large but it was almost comical when we pulled them out of the box and tried to imagine all three in our space. Basically, it would draw attention for sure and that's all anyone would notice about your house. Not exactly what I was going for. We had to send them back.

Good quality - installed easy.

These pendants are made in China, but are of good quality. The chrome plating is decent, fixture and hardware is good. Hanging chain is heavy. Handmade glass "bottles" are thin but not fragile. They look great installed. We hung 2 above our island, they are large, but don't have a lot of visual weight being clear glass. They look really cool after dark with edison bulbs. Install a dimmer to bring down the bulbs to a good viewing light. 40 w bulbs are more than enough. I would buy again.

Perfect Pendant Light

We purchased these to go above our kitchen bar after seeing them in someone else's kitchen. I love that they are big and make a statement. Our island is about 10 feet long, and we placed three of these lights above it. Because they are clear, they don't block your view or stand out too much, but they are the first thing that people notice when they walk in the kitchen. I looked at MANY websites to find pendant lights that I liked, and nothing compared to these. Everything else seemed too small or too dainty. These gave us just what we wanted! One thing to keep in mind, they are larger than many pendant lights, so if your space is limited, make sure you measure before you purchase.

Like Art in the Kitchen

These lights are the centerpiece of my kitchen. I ordered 4, and they are absolutely gorgeous! Everyone compliments them. We put Edison light bulbs in them and they look very contemporary, and perfect over my huge center island. The slight variations in them is interesting - makes them look hand-blown. Overall, I'm so glad we got these! As a side note, it took us 3 tries to get 4 unbroken lights but the seller was amazing at sticking with us and making this right. I'd highly recommend both the lights, and this seller.

NOT CSA OR ULc CERTIFIED FOR USE IN CANADA

I ordered a number of light fixtures for my newly renovated house and was horrified to find that Amazon.ca would sell products (either themselves or through a vendor) that were not certified for use in Canada. My electrician opened this box and said some assembly was normal but this had to be totally put together and was not CSA, OR ULc certified. He said he could not install them and if someone did, fire insurance would be void. Check for certification before ordering.
