Attractive and nice size

Ordered 2 sconces, Very attractive, installed easily. Only gave 3 star rating because one of the sockets was off center touching one side of frame and tight to the other. Consequently the bulb hung off center. Was going to return, however, took screwdriver and managed to move slightly by working from open side by wiggling screwdriver - then made up difference by turning whole sconce very slightly on wall.

I'm giving these a 3 star rating because they were slightly different from the other 3 we had ordered from a lighting store. We bought the original 3 for our stairwell, then decided on the same for our dining area. These two were identical, but they were different from the others even though they're the same light. The picture shows a slight brassiness in the ribbed areas, the two we ordered here did not have this. Also, the three we got from the lighting store had a round plate we could put between the light and wall if we wanted. The two we ordered here had the plate permanently affixed on the front of the round wall mount part. These are not things anyone will notice in our house because they are in two different spaces, but be aware if you are trying to match lights you already have up that were purchased elsewhere.

After replacing a similar, brand new $50 fixture with this, I am ecstatic. The original fixture was flimsy, nearly impossible to install, and poorly designed. This thing feels like it is machined from solid brass (it isn't, but it is STURDY), was a breeze to install thanks to the clear instructions and simple mounting design, and is NOT going to budge once mounted. The glass globe even has 3 holes so that the set screws go through it--you won't crack it from over tightening! For anyone else considering this light but leery of the price tag: DO IT. It's worth every penny.

Beautiful- high quality

This is a beautiful fit in our attic remodel bathroom. The house downstairs is all turn of the century, so the more modern touch of this in the newer looking remodel upstairs is awesome. The light is perfect over the bathroom mirror. The chrome is solid and has a high quality look as does the glass. I would definitely suggest a 60 watt edison bulb of the brightest tone unless you are looking for a lower light accent. Haven't tried a regular bulb in it, but the edison squirrel style bulb looks great !

Nice looking fixture, very impractical design

While I like the fixture, do know that the glass globe is enclosed on the underside, which makes it very challenging to change the light bulb. Because the bottom of the globe is enclosed, it is necessary to remove the glass globe before inserting a light bulb. The mechanism for attaching the globe to the fixture is quite "fiddly" and, I imagine, very difficult to accomplish with even a slight impairment in the fingertips. Not a practical design at all, but I like the way it looks and so I will keep it. Update 3-11-17: Unfortunately, the chrome base has become pitted after only seven months. I am very disappointed in the quality of this light. I do not recommend.

These lights are excellent looking. Clean and simple look. Depending on the light bulb you use, can give off less or more light.

Love the seeded glass and the bronze tone

Exactly what I wanted. Love the seeded glass and the bronze tone. Using an Edison bulb, it looks great. A little expensive but worth it. It's on the smaller side so plan for it to go in a small area, or it will lose it's wow factor. IMO. ;)

Great sconces!

Love these sconces on our shiplap wall. Bought Amber Edison lights to go with them. They are slim and very attractive.
