Tough as nails outer shell

This jacket is great! True to size and roomy through the torso. The outer shell is super heavy weight material which I expect will last a good long time. The entire jacket is double stitched and all stress points are heavily reinforced. It is not as warm as the jacket it's replacing but with the extra roominess a fleece vest does the trick for sub-freezing temperatures. Overall, a good value for the money.

Wanted to love

If you're outdoors and work hard and don't need much comfort to it, this is a great Carhartt style jacket. The outside is really tough and rough, it does have nice sleeve cuffs to keep the cold air out and the inside is a nice fleece, albeit not very warm. I want/need a Large Tall size, unfortunately, I've tried Columbia many times in this size and they are always basically an XL jacket - too wide and sleeves still too long. Usually a better fit for someone who is 6'3" and probably 200 lbs. Also, the pockets are not warm or comfortable to use either, a big negative for what I needed it for - more casual, walking for work/school, etc. The collar/neck/lower hood part is also way up in your chin, and being so stiff material, I'm not sure it would fold down easily and stay there until you need it.

Beautiful Jacket!

This jacket was even nicer than expected! It is extremely well made and heavier than it looked. The inside did not have the camouflage design but for $31.00 that really didn’t matter.

Stunning Jacket across the pond to the UK

Fantastic jacket amazing quality the only improvements would be pockets the big pockets aren't very secure, and foremost pockets are pretty useless. and not a deal breaker but a 2 way zip would have been great to have. You can feel the quality in the weight of this item, very warm and although not waterproof it does repel water, mud, blood etc
