Love my work sink

I love my kitchen work sink. It came with cutting board and drying rack, but not a colander for washing fruits and vegetables. This is very sturdy, sits well in the sink, and does the job.

Love this colander. Great quality..worth the price

So easy to drain pasta wash veggies and use as a drain board. Very good quality and fits my farm house sink really well.

What’s with the handles??

This comes with black plastic handle that supposedly snap together to stay on. No sense why it’s even designed that these come off and boy do they. Every time you pick this up the snaps disengage and the handles (2 pieces each side) falls off. For $50 for this item, that’s way too annoying. Back it goes!

Adds ease to many cooking preparation tasks.

I use this ‘tray’ for food preparation. It is incredibly handy next to the cutting board sink attachment. Plus, it is an attractive space-saver in my small kitchen.

Excellent concept, but flawed design

This is a useful strainer with the Kraus sink, but the plastic handles on the ends come apart too often (almost every use) and require you to snap them back in place. They should not dislodge so easily as it is very disruptive to have to put them back on repeatedly. Otherwise, it’s an excellent strainer and the body is easy to clean.

The thing I didn’t realize I needed

I hesitated splurging on this, because who pays this much for a colander? But I have a new Kraus sink, and so I took a shot… and it’s the best decision ever. It’s huge, deep, and does not budge even when dumping a giant pot of spaghetti noodles over it. Have also used it for rinsing vegetables. Can also be used for a drying rack. Depending on the size of your sink, you could leave it in place forever. Well worth the money.

If you have a Kraus sink that allows for it, I couldn’t recommend anything more than this!
