Easy to read but have to stoop down

Nice rain gauge, numbers easy to read but hard for an 80 year old to get down far enough to read. Maybe it could be tiltable a little?

Mounting issue

It has two holes for mounting on the bottom of the gauge. I am reluctant to drill into my deck poles. It is a good product.

Nice and Easy to read for sure.

Fascinated to capture the exact rain fall amounts in this record making Southern California 2023 rains this year. Was glad I ordered it. Would recommend it. Just need your own screws! They have to be just right in order to remove and dump the rain gauge. Don’t want to grow mosquitoes. Wish the manufacturer would provide the screws.

Make sure to bring inside during the winter!

Does everything you want it to do, except empty itself (haha). I accidentally left mine out when it got a bit on the cold side, and it eventually cracked. I keep it in my flower beds on my deck's railing. Is pretty easy to read and seems to be accurate.

Bring your own screws!

This gauge is as presented online. It is easy to read and should be easy to install. However, it would have been great if they would have included 2 mounting screws. My old ones are too large for the holes on the new one, so I had to make a trip to the hardware store. Other than that, it's great.

Does a great job

I have a post beside my house just for a rain gauge. Away from the leaves and the eaves. Once in a while I fail to empty it when a freeze happens, and I have to replace the gauge. This style is great because it is so easy to read. The curvature of the plastic acts like a lens. My only complaint is that you have to slide it off the fastening screws to empty it, which is a slight bother. I prefer models where the base stays attached and the top slides on/off the base. But, at this price, this is great. Next time it crack when frozen I will purchase the two piece version.

Easy to use

Easy to install. Easy to read. And easy to remove for draining out the water. No sooner did I install it that it rained three inches in dry California! Thanks.

So far, so good in the desert

AZ desert heat will discolor most rain gauges. But so far this one is still holding up after a couple years. We definitely like the large increments. It helps us old farts check the precip amount whenever it does occasionally rain.
