I know Amazon wants me to write a review of this product but this product also includes a warranty which I'll also discuss. For those who are not familiar with LOL surprises, they are "blind" balls that you open. This means you have no idea which "character" you're getting. What you CAN do is pick the set. This one is the " Remix Rock" collection. Some collections can have 16 different dolls, meaning that the chances of getting duplicates aren't high at first. This "Remix Rock" "collection" includes FOUR DOLLS. That's it. The chances of getting duplicates are VERY high and since this is a toy little kids enjoy, expect tears when they don't find a new one. That said, this one was missing a shoe. The wrapper that should contain two shoes only had one in it. The warranty from the company - MGA Entertainment - isn't great. You MUST submit your claim within 30 days of purchase (not of opening the ball, but of the purchase, so if you're not a prime member, keep this in mind) and have the receipt AND the wrapping. Even if you have your Amazon receipt, they will push you VERY hard to return the product to Amazon and not to their company. In this case, my daughter opted to keep the doll missing a shoe because she's had much worse experiences with other LOL Surprises (some from Amazon, some from Target). Once you start to open this ball, you'll find small compartments containing blind bags. You'll find shoes in one (or just one shoe, in this case). You'll find other accessories in another one (maybe a guitar? Bracelets?) Then you'll find an outfit. Lastly, you'll open the doll. You'll have a piece of paper saying that the dolls will either PEE, SPIT or CRY. Some of them may color-change in hot or cold water, others will not. Some are supposed to color change but you may receive a defective one of those too. You'll fill up their heads with water and squeeze them to find out which of those three they'll do. It's very hard to empty the water out of their heads so keep returning to them after your child is done and rest them on their face and keep squeezing them so they don't get moldy internally. Also, the small accessories are VERY small so they can easily slip right down a drain. Keep this in mind when playing in the bath or sink. The clothing is also not durable and the more you take it off and put it back on, the more it stretches until it eventually rips. Some items (skirts) are easier to not destroy but other ones (shirts with holes in the arms) won't last long at all. Although kids love them, out of these LOL 'surprise' balls, the SURPRISE is usually figuring out the defect: a missing piece, the wrong clothing on the wrong doll, some make-up printed on the wrong part of their face, or, in one case, a doll with NO BLIND BAGS at all. Since my kid loves them, I got three of them around Christmas time from Amazon and SHAME ON ME for waiting until Christmas for her to open them. That certainly ate away a huge chunk of the warranty. I bought three of the LOL surprises from Amazon (one Remix Rock, one Confetti Under Wraps, and one All-Star BBs) and TWO were defective. The problem isn't with Amazon, the problem is there is absolutely no checking the products when they go into these balls. I would say this is a "buy at your own risk" toy because I have had SO many bad experiences with these dolls. I wish my daughter didn't like them so much.
