Great took from a great company.

Works fantastic. Very fast also. I did buy a large slow drill from harbor freight. Anxious to use. So far just played with on scrape logs. Lumberjacks sent me a free gift to choose at xmas. How many companies treat you this good? I picked another set of blades. Just had to pay for shipping. What a cool company. Thank you. These are really large but really nice heavy duty. I am impressed. Very nice.

Lumberjack tenon cutters, AWESOME.

Awesome bits. Chews threw wood like an angry beaver. 2" Tenon in 10 aec. flat. Money well spent.

Great product for both beginners and those with experience

This makes for a great gift to someone who enjoys woodworking. It is incredibly durable and well-made for the price. The instructional kit provides the perfect template for someone just getting started. Even though this is a little more expensive than the Beginner Series, I would recommend getting this version. For a little extra money you get much better durability.

Not what you're expecting. Pretty lame really.

Pros: seems made fairly well. Cons: Does not come assembled. Getting the dual blades set up equally is next to impossible. Then getting is set to make a tenon the right size is maddening. This thing leaves a really, really rough cut. Even using the included spacers as stated in the instructions does not help with the rough cutting. Looks like a rat gnawed it out. Including a picture. There is not a depth stop and it would have been very easy to include one. Overall for the price you are not getting much. It does not make a professional finish and the fact they don't have it set up really makes this an unsatisfactory product.

I purchased this to build some log handrail. I have always hand peeled tenons with a draw knife but I'd never had more than a couple of dozen balusters to make. This time I had over 100. My helper was able to produce about 120 balusters in about 3 1/2 hours. This tool is worth the money.

Super Cool

This kit is awesome. It's very expensive for what it is but the cool stuff you can make is worth the price. I have a lot of kinks to work out but I quickly built a coffee table from the included plans and got a lot of compliments on it.

Very well built.

Built like a tank. A few words of advice: 1) Make sure you have a powerful drill, with a handle for the side, so you can use TWO hands while it does its thing. 2) Use high speeds or it can catch and take your arm for a joy ride. 3) Don't take a big cut off of it. It isn't necessary, and the blade may bite into the wood and cause it to spin. 4) If you can, clamp the limb, log, branch etc down. This isn't for the amateur who thinks they can use this with one hand. Not on 3 - 4" diameter pieces of wood. Would I buy it again? Yes? Will I need to? Judging by the construction, I doubt it.

Pretty disappointed.

Pretty disappointed. I went to put the blades into the 1" cutter and discovered that one of the screw holes is pre-stripped. Considering the price of the tool, I'd expect the quality control to be a bit higher. Now to figure out how to return it.

Great Product, Buy the Dual Blade!

Works great, Well worth it Purchasing the Tenon's with Dual cutting blades. Need to get the 1 1/2" Tenon now. Built a bed frame, two end tables and a coffee table. Will Definitely get the same brand. Great quality and price.
