Excellent Fan

I have an Emmerson 44 inch fan which I paid a lot more than this fan which looks very similar, receiver and remote plus blades look exactly the same. Using it in a bedroom very quiet and stylish. Highly recommend this product.

Installation is more painful than it should be.

Husband and I are getting to be experts at installing ceiling fans. As far as installation - this is by far my least favorite. It's heavy and awkward to move into place. FWIW - some reviews said you have to bend the hook, you do not. You DO have to align the receiver correctly before lifting it into place so the hook has space, and since the receiver just sits in there, it can slip out of alignment while you are struggling to lift this fairly hefty fan (with it's blades spinning around and getting in the way) into place. This means you have to then lower it, get everything back in place and try again. That was just.. ugh. This is the only install we've done where I don't think I could have done it myself, maybe my husband could have, but it was a good idea to have both of us there. OK, once that's done, this is a really nice-looking fan. Spins smoothly and quietly, moves a nice amount of air, we've had no problems with the remote so far (fingers crossed), and the lighting is nice. The materials look quality and the construction seems very solid. Currently, the color scheme in our house is matte white with matte black hardware, and this fan goes great. It will also go great with just about anything else we chose - unlike those 80's looking fans we removed. It's just a nice, sleek modern-but-not-too-modern design that will go with all kinds of styles and colors. Installation had us cussing, but we'd still chose this again.

Super quite and well engineered!

I gave this 5 stars and I installed it myself. The motor is super quite, the air moving through the blades is louder than the motor. I had to replace the batteries in the remote to get the dimmer on the remote to work, a couple AAAs Duracell batteries worked nicely. Installed well and is quality engineering throughout. I had a problem with the 1st one delivered but Amazon replaced it no questions asked, stellar service. It was a freak accident where one of the feed wires to the light unit arced and shorted out the controller, not why it did that,partly my fault for not keeping the power of until everything was hooked ???? Anyway love this fan, looks and works beautiful in our master bedroom! I’m adding to my 1st revue, I just installed the second one of these and again it’s beautiful, runs super quite, and extremely well engineered down to the finest detail including a hiding plate for mounting the wall mount for the remote, well done you guys!!!!!

not worth the money

purchased new from amazon....the led light would not turn on at all...the fan is not nearly as quiet as advertised but at least worked.

Light kit is improved

Had to replace a fan that suffered “impact damage” in a room that had two of these fans. The original fans were installed in 2016, and the new one definitely has a brighter light in the light kit. I wish I could buy just the light kit and replace the other. But, the ones that are 5 years old are still going strong! Very happy with these fans.

Beautiful brushed brass to match existing hardware

DAY ONE: was easy to put together, has a hanging hook if you do this alone, simple instructions if you know how to write a fan, if not - call "the" guy. Took less than an hour to put together and hang. I love the remote, with light switch on...you can control all from it. Several speeds and the lowest is fine for sleeping. Silent until fan on highest speed and then you can hear the wind :) Mounts flush against the ceiling. Is two directional. The light is yellow and fine for a bedroom, wouldn't use it to light a room. I won't use the light much, it's all about the fan! I'll update if anything goes wrong over time.

Keep Cool with this stylish fan

This fan is so cool, that it's hot. This is a powerful and smooth fan. Like the BMW logo, the curve design gives it an airplane propeller look. It has a remote with variable speeds, plus light, which has great illumination. It's a bit of a "arm" ache to install. Best to install with 2 person assist. I like this fan so much that I purchased an additional 2 for a total of 3 for all bedrooms in house. Highly recommend.

Very good fan

It’s so quiet you don’t even notice it’s on. Light is on the yellow side, so it’s perfect for bedroom at night. Installation is fairly easy, but word of advice is to not install the blades so early (as in manual). Do it later so it’s easier for you to handle the heavy motor during installation. This fan is excellent, since all transmitter and wiring fit very well inside the housing. (I had to return a different brand fan due to that problem). There is a ring that goes on flush to ceiling to hide any small gaps that may be present after installation. Overall, I give this a 10/10. Very good motor. (DC Motor). Very cost and energy efficient. ????????

Different Style good looking fan

We’ll explain in the instruction manual but you do need two persons for installation,very heavy to install.
